Came with friends for coffee while it was raining. The place was packed, but despite this it still felt cozy and service was reasonably fast. They roast their beans in the back, which is cool to see as you're ordering. The coffee is great, and the baked goods were quite good as well.

I'd ordered an Ethiopian pour over, and they did it right there. The coffee hit all the right notes, with a distinct body and berry undertones.

Had a really weird and disappointing experience there. I came happy to discover a new place and taste good coffee. The employee barely aknowledged my presence and did not say a single word to me (not even to ask if i'd pay with card or cash). She looked like she was having the worst time in this place and so did the rest of the baristas. Very moody and contemptuous towards clients. They made me feel very unewelcomed. Coffee was good but the bad experience ruined it.
Would not recommend :(

This is my first review, and excited to give my unwanted, careless and honest judgments (the good and bad) !

Toby’s Estate has a very comfortable vibe the second you walk in, the old school hip spot in town to swing by and do work as you sip on coffee and hear the roasting machine in the back! Avocado Toast is amazing with a splash of Tahini sauce on top (5 star for sure).

Make sure you charge your Phone, Tablet, Laptop oh and your electric prosthetic leg if you have one, there is NO outlets at this stop, JUST SAYIN!

I hate to say that I like this place but I do. The coffee actually has a flavor/taste. Not the dirt you get from everywhere else that has you buzzing around the city til you lose consciousness.

We’ve been frequenting Tobys for quite some time and they never disappoint. They have a number of locations in NYC but our favorite is the Brooklyn location. Presentation is always on point, but the most important part is the coffee and Tobys does a great job with their in-house roasting. Third Wave all the way from the notes to the vibe and the knowledgeable but also friendly Baristas. This last visit the pour over presentation was so well done with a tasting note card... very well done.

One of my favorite coffee shops along with their coffee, located in Williamsburg. Wish they were open later, other than that they are really friendly staff willing to explain each coffee on the menu. The coffee is also available for purchase and it's amazing as well.

I like this place but this morning the music was weirdly loud. Couldn’t read my book because Brian Adams was blasting. I don’t personally find this desirable for a cafe.

Great work space, really good coffee. No outlets so charge up before you come. Coffee and cakes were amazing

I 😍 the hot chocolate. The big breakfast is hearty and tasty. I'm not a big fan of the eggs, could be more wet.

The coffee here was delicious. Friendly staff, lovely atmosphere and a great outdoor setup out front of the store right in the heart of Williamsburg. I bought some coffee beans to take home and they smell great😁. It was also a superb touch that most of the space in the store is actually a great little shop to browse— mugs, t-shirts, hats, decorative items, coffee makers etc... Loved the vibe here.
