The food is always hot a delicious. They have it all..... took my family out for my mom birthday and wow the server was so nice. He made the night so special....

There food is soo superb. I have no complaints. I used to be afraid to switch up a dish and would just eat the same thing over and over whenever I arrived at this restaurant. One day I tried a new dish and I enjoyed it. My advice don't be afraid to try a new dish just as long as you know what you cant and can eat you will be fine.

We ended up at National after a show in BAM and temperatures too cold to go looking for a place more than 5 minutes away. The atmosphere was casual and welcoming, we waited 5 minutes for a table. Although we were 2, as soon as the first table became available they seated us,although it was a table for 4. We appreciated that a lot. The place was full, but not noisy. The service was impeccable. We had fried pork dumplings as a starter which were cooked to perfection. We then had the Kang Kyo Whan Koong (shrimp, eggplant, and other veggies in green coconut curry), served with white rice; and the chicken and vegetables in red coconut curry sauce over pad thai noodles. Both were very generous servings and delicious. I highly recommend this place.

I have always been a fan of Joya, but have been disappointed by National.
My last order consisted of the spare ribs, pad thai and Nuur Kratiam. The ribs were good, but the rest tasted funny, and I spat it out rather than risking getting sick. So I will probably not order from this place again.

I went there for a friend's Birthday. I called a few days ago and asked if I could bring a Birthday cake. They said sure. We went there with a baby and a little kid + 5 adults, and stayed there from 3-5pm Sat afternoon. I told a lady (probably a manager) that I brought a Birthday cake and she took it. The waitress was really unfriendly and rude. After the meal, I asked the waitress to bring the cake, then she told me customers can't eat outside food. I told her that I had confirmed it by phone. She checked with the manager, then she brought the cake and said nothing. Instead, she brought the check and automatically added 25% tip: $68 + tax + $16 ＝ $93 total. I asked her for an explanation and she said she added a 20% tip because we brought the cake, but she was being dishonest: she had actually added 25%. They said nothing about that when I called. I'm very dissapointed about how they do the business. I'll never go back there again. If you want to enjoy your meal in a friendly atomosphere, don't go there, expecially if you have kids. They are NOT a kids-friendly restaurant.

I've eaten here 3x. Each time the food was great and piping hot, just how I love my food. Great/prompt service, clean bathroom, and nice atmosphere (ambiance, setting, etc.). 👌🏽👍🏽

1. The basil chicken fried rice isn’t all that.

2. I ask if it’s spicy it isn’t.

3. I sit down in the morning with my 2 go bowl and I’m asked to put it in a plate or I can’t sit there to eat their food... I felt disrespected just because I can’t sit down and eat but I go to more upscale restaurant and it isn’t a problem.

I only gave this place 2 stars because of the food. Service was terrible. Racist i should say. Went there for the first time yesterday. Upon entry the hostess gave my friend and I a dirty look. We were going to turn back but he insisted that we stay because the food was good. We observed how the hostess greeted other ethnic groups (caucasians and asians) were greeted with such warmth. Other African Americans got little to no greeting at all. We watched, pretty shocked and wondered if the manager or owner knew how his staff treated people who were spending their money there. The Ambiance changed immediately.
We were pressured to order quickly countless times, and hovered over by the hostess until we left. They even gave us back the tip we gave despite the horrendous service.

Waitress was very unfriendly and rude. She never checked on us. We had to get up to find her for a to go box and to ask for the bill. When the bill came and we didnt tip she had the nerve to ask for one. We didnt want to cause a scene so we gave her a tip but she didnt like the amount and asked for more. When we didnt give her more she told us to order take out next time. How rude!

Rude and impolite staff. They seem to be discriminatory towards non white people. The food was only mediocre and the atmosphere extremely tepid. Also, why would they not have hot water but when you ask for green tea they bring that out? Mind blowing, a waste of time and money.
