Vegetarian options are awful, nearly all contain fish sauce. When I told the waiter I was vegetarian and he said he was not sure what the difference is between vegan and vegetarian. Pretty alarming considering you are in the restaurant business!!. All the dishes were dumped with low quality tofu pieces. Waste of time and money.
Super fast. Super cheap. Those are the main accomplishments of National. The food itself is fine, but somehow not quite as amazing as their other restaurants (Joya & Song). The space is actually quite nice as well so points for that... just don't expect very good service.
The best basil chicken I had in life, so far! It was cheap, served piping hot, and the level of spiciness was great; spicy but not so spicy that I couldn't enjoy it. The serving was also huge as well, with a small bowl of rice on the side. I paid about $9.50 for the meal in total.
The food is very mediocre but because it is close to BAM and the staff is nice I gave it 3 stars. The summer rolls had a tough wrapper, and its contents was uninspiring. The Pad Thai was overly sweet with a thick sauce. The rib appetizer was dry. The stir fry was bland.
Service was super fast. I asked for a vegan dish and ended up getting pad Thai without egg. However, it definitely had fish and/or oyster sauce in it. I would not go back.
Food and portions were good but staff was very unfriendly; on the verge of being rude. We reached there at 12:10 on Friday afternoon. We were a party of 9, and 3 of us reached 5 minutes earlier than the others but they refused to even set up the table for us, unless all of the others arrived. We told them that everyone else left the office just 5 minutes after us and we called a colleague again to ensure, but still the hostess refused to set it up for us. Restaurants are usually quite welcoming to big groups. But these people treated us very rudely and if it weren't for the inconvenience to take everyone to a different place, we would have definitely just walked out. For sure we won't be going there again!
Last night approximately 9:00 ordered 2 veg. spring rolls,2 chicken spring rolls and beef and Broccoli. She stated my order back to me when I get home no beef and broccoli instead I got chicken and broccoli have never brought chicken and broccoli and never will no taste to plain.
Excellent authentic cuisine to tantalize your taste buds. Coconut soup, wings, tofu tod, and some yummy entrees like Pad Thai as well as drinks. People flock here for a reason. Catch the fever...
