Almost like diner coffee. Not great. They pulled the steamer cup already full of milk out of the fridge to steam my latte. Limited seating. Pastries looked good but I didn’t try them.

Best coffee shop in the city. Perfect example of a what a café should be...small, intimate, inviting. Super friendly and skilled baristas. Great for breakfast or to linger over a cup, indoors or out. STOP going to Dunkin, you're hurting people.

Customer service is always 5 stars. Perfect breakfast sammies. Espresso drinks are good. Iced coffee is consistently weak.
Steven Larkin
Polite service and very prophesizing atmosphere.
I loved cappuccino was very tasty
I would get the bagel sandwich I got egg and sausage about a seven out of 10

Just the kind of place I was looking for. Daily Grind harkens back to the coffee shops of old. Lee is the man and the staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. Real coffee shops are few and far between, there aren't many places like this left. So glad such a gem exists.

I really like the coffee and upstairs seating at this place but this is the second time I’ve gotten food there to go where they forget something. I should have checked before I left but I was charged full price for a sandwich but they forget the chips and pickle which comes with all sandwiches. Paying 12 dollars for a half a sandwich and coffee is too much and I’ll be hesitant to go back again.

Very tiny and tight squeeze into this coffee shop. Staff are tripping over each other in disorganization and clutter while attempting to serve you extremely over priced drinks and food thats made in a dirty looking area. Staff are just not friendly they are kids that like to talk to each other. Im not impressed.

Pleasant, comfy Cafe with good food. Best freshly roasted coffee beans in Albany. This is where I get my Monsooned Malabar beans for my morning cuppa coffee.

Even though it's small it's comfy and funky. There's always light roast, dark roast and a flavor along with decaf. Soymilk is available for those who ask.Pastries, muffins and breakfast all day. Salads and sandwiches with a daily soup complete the menu. Take out is one cup, but the "for here" coffee is a bottomless cup. Wifi and never a rush for spaces, so everyone can hang out, talk, read, etc. It's a neighborhood meetingplace. Coffee is roasted upstairs and sold in bulk in the retail shop, where there is also bulk tea along with a variety of coffee accessories and teapots. Extra seating is also upstairs when it's open because the cafe downstairs is small.
