Ohori's Coffee has some of the best coffee and ambience in Santa Fe. The downtown location has the best vibe and is in walking distance of the state Capitol building and the myriad shops, boutiques and galleries that surround the plaza. One of the best spots to refuel, recharge and regroup. Coffee drinks, beans and baked treats exceed expectations. Get some!

Latte was great, paper cups nice, atmosphere is nice, good selection of coffee accessories.
Very nice place.

Rude staff and the worlds smallest $8 burrito. Literally tasted like an elementary school cafeteria breakfast. Carabiner for size reference.

My husband and I live in Abq but need to go to Santa Fe to work sometimes for our business, we wanted to try a new coffee shop so we stopped by Ohori's last week in between our in person meetings that we had. My husband took a zoom meeting while we were there, and during the middle of his very important call the owner comes up to him and very rudely tells him this is not his personal office space and that he needs to leave. I have never experienced anything like it! On a side note, I checked with people around us and I was reassured that he was not disrupting or offending anyone. Its coffee shop not a library, he had headphones in and was carrying on a normal conversation. Thankfully the other person on the zoom call thought it was hilarious. However, we won't be going back or recommending it to anyone, I am sure the owner is fine with that. I just thought people should know how they treat their paying customers.

I had a large mocha with 3 shots today. I also had a chocolate biscotti. Together they were bliss! Thank you to the person that made my drink amazing.

Not sure of the names of both baristas but both wonderful humans. I came in the early morning in need of caffeine before my drive back to Colorado. Both baristas had glasses and one with longer dark hair- who recommended I get the cheese danish before I go. No exaggeration, it was the best cheese danish I’ve ever had in my life- I almost turned around to get one more. I also loved my four shot espresso oat latte :) just a very friendly energy those two brought to my morning and I’m so grateful I happened upon this place before I left Santa Fe.

Ohori's has been in Santa Fe a lot longer than most independent coffee shops. I remembered how they used to tend towards very dark (read "burnt") roasts. I was hoping that with the advent of super high quality roasters like Iconik Ohori's would up it's game. So I gave them another chance today, and bought 4 lbs of various light and medium roasts. Unfortunately, they are all what would be called dark roasts by better roasters, like Iconik, and the dozens of awesome micro roasters in CA, OR and WA that I have tried. These beans smell and taste over-roasted, and lack the complex and subtle flavors that are only found in true medium or lighter roasts. If you're a fan of such dark roasts maybe you'll enjoy them, but if you prefer true artisanal medium roasts you will be disappointed. Sorry Ohori's!

Had an awesome pour over this morning and a nice conversation with the owner! The Yemen roast was great.

BURNT COFFEE! The ambiance and staff are great. But the coffee is not good. It is beyond French roast: it is charcoal roast! A little coffee shop in Taos (coffee apothecary) has such better coffee than this place.

For a long time this was the best coffee in town, at least at the Pen Road location. My experience at the Luna location today made me wonder if it still is. My "pourover" came out very quickly and tasted like it came from a percolator. My companion ordered the coffees while I was checking out the pastries so I did not see how it was made. The pastries were very so-so. I think you are better off going to one of the newer places where the owners make their pastries on-site and have an espresso machine. An Americano there should be satisfactory. I hope this was an atypical experience. I will have to go back to the Pen Road location and see if that is so.
