There aren't a whole lot of places left in Santa Fe where you can get a cup of coffee, maybe a bite to eat, and work on your laptop for a while: what we were all calling "coffee culture" a few years ago. Java Joe's is such a place. If you need someplace to get a drink and snack, and chill or have a quiet conversation, go here.

I stopped in this morning to grab a box of coffee for the meeting today! So glad i did! Several of my coworkers were more than happy to enjoy a cup of java joe's coffee!

Only place open on Easter so that was a plus. Rude employees demanding we wear a mask in our car from 12 feet away. Over the top and unnecessary COVID restrictions. Coffee was bad too.

This place has the best tasting coffee in Santa Fe. My girlfriend and I played a fun game of top 5 best spots for coffee and we both agreed that Java Joes was number 1.

love this place- the one on Siler - was a bit of a secret for a while- good hours- it'd be nice if they were opened on Sundays too- the best priced coffee in town- even cheaper than DUDOS- nice staff and well- people leave you alone if you like that- very UNpretentious too- thank GOD ! :)

Family-kitchen atmosphere. When the microwave is the cooking method, stick to coffe and pastries. Burrito was a 3 🌟 at best, but not bad for a no-prep location that makes hot food in advance.

OMG!!!! What a warm and caring coffee house. David the owner is hands on and greets his customers when they come through the door. Java Joe's coffee house has been here in town for over a decade serving up a cheerful smile and brew in each and every cup of Java. While they are located on the southside on Rodeo road they are worth the trip. I am not the only one who finds this cafe a favorite place to come for coffee. It's always busy when I walk in, lots of folks camped out in and outside, enjoying a nice relaxing moment with a cup of Java in their hands. David also cares about who produced his coffee and he always buys coffee that is fair trade which financially supports the growers and their families.

Want to have a great cup of coffee, relax and enjoy the polite courteous service in the Southside of town? Then head on over to Java Joe's you won't be disappointed!!

IF on the other hand you want the worst experience you could possibly imagine well then head on over to the place owned by the Koffee Nazi - Tom Frost - of BetterDay Coffee - which is an oxymoron for sure.. It's never a betterday when you have to deal with that guy TOM FROST and his attitude.. I can't begin to tell you all the horror stories me and my friends have experienced there over the past year... his nazi coffee is not worth the abuse and attitude he will put you through to get served.. STAY AWAY FROM THE KOFFEE NAZI - TOM FROST - AND HIS CERTAINLY NOT BETTERDAY COFFEE!! especially when there are so many more truly excellent and better tasting alternatives!!!! LB

Not from around here, google says hours and says open. Took me a while to find the place in the parking lot just to see the door says closed all day. If I’m back in Santa Fe, I’ll try again!

They are safe and the coffee is very good, I had the Azteca de oro, which I would recommend if you like sweeter coffees
