Nice to have someone take your order outside before you hit the drive-up window, though I don't think that happens before 9. (Only done it once).
Great Earl Grey tea, burrito was nice and hot.

I love this place. Haven’t gone wrong with a beverage.

Great little place to have coffee or in my case Chi tea.... very friendly place...

Really awesome Americano every time I have visited here and the staff have been consistently friendly but not overly forward (Which I greatly appreciate). It's a cool, relaxed environment with consistently changing art.
I can't speak for the drive through because I have never used it but last time I was there it was pretty consistently busy so I think that's a good thing.

The employees at Java Joe's are always super nice. However, I frequently order an espresso drink and more days than not it tastes burnt and bitter (as if the espresso shots were left too long before being poured). They're also not terribly accurate when you order food. For example I ordered a sesame seed bagel then got to work to find it was an everything bagel. A few days later I ordered a ham and cheese croissant and took a bite to find Chile and cheese.

Java Joe’s had friendly laid back service. The breakfast burrito I had was hearty and fresh. The mocha I had was tasty with fresh whipped cream. The whipped cream was real fresh, not overly sweet, and not out of a whipped cream bottle. My only criticism is it’s hot and stuffy inside. You might want enjoy your coffee outside at the seating area. Place also has a drive thru.

BEST COFFEE IN TOWN (I've tried them all)!
It is so nice to enjoy a coffee on the way to work prepared by the ever friendly and hard working team at Java Joes. I appreciate everyone here and you dedication to safety, health and the patience you show our community as you serve us love in a cup (disguised as caffeine) during the madness of it all, thank you for being rays of light disguised as baristas!

This is really hard to write without coffee. Everything about this establishment is ordinarily exceptional. However, I had a poor experience this morning and feel inclined to share.

A good friend and I were leaving town bright and early as we made our beginning on a 12+ hour road trip. As we all know, java (perhaps even more so than gasoline) is the essential fuel for such an endeavor. Making an early start, we got on the road around 6:30 and arrived at the shop at 6:53.

When we reached the door, we noticed that the Sunday opening hour (7 a.m.) is different from the usual hour, which is 6. Initially dismayed, we thought that–if we could catch the attention of the barista who was opening up–perhaps we might be in luck for a quick cup of coffee, even though we were seven minutes before the official opening.

Fortunately, she (a young woman sporting a dark multicolored headband) noticed us, making eye contact with me. I waved to her, signaling that we wanted to talk. She ignored me and continued her opening work. Continuing to glance out sporadically, she made no acknowledgement of our presence. I continued to wave, and she glared at me. The gaze was dehumanizing.

I love the coffee here, but this woman needs to go.

EDIT: perhaps a bit rash. I do not want this woman's employment to be terminated due to a single error in service. However, management should speak with her about this aspect of customer service, that even if your establishment is still opening and there is a strict policy by which you serve no one before the official hour, you must still go and speak with someone waiting by the door, especially when it's cold outside, as it was this morning. Thanks and god bless.

Some of the best coffee and read drinks I ever had. The place has a great laid back vibe with ever-changing art supporting local artist, and the staff are superb, and you can tell they care not just about the job that they're doing but also you as the customer! Highly highly recommend!
