Really a nice stay. The 1920's vibe is just different.
You can feel the historic characteristics of the hotel and it was enjoyable. Old but excellent amazing clean, quiet and relaxed.
Staff are friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed hanging around at the lobby with that atmosphere vibe and the talking with the staff.
This is definitely the hidden gems in this town that doesn't show up on any of the booking websites.

Upon arival the place appeared to be a nice historical place to stay!! When we got to our room it did not look like it had been cleaned at all except for clean sheets and towels!! The bathtub drain was full of hair and a huge rust stain around the drain. When I walked on the bathroom floor it felt grimy and my feet were filthy. The room had a strange oder that I could not recognize. When opening the curtains they fell down. After leaving we received another bill of $283. When we called them to enquire about it they said we smoked in the room and they had evidence. When we aske them to send us pictures they were very rude and said hold on I have a customer and then hung up on me. I would not recommend this place to anyone unless you just need to board an animal. Still trying to get a hold of them for justifying the smoking charge. We did not smoke anywhere inside there.

Unfortunately, I would not recommend this hotel. I wanted to like it and the reviews persuaded me that I would. In short: the first floor window to our room did not lock, the back door to the building did not close properly and the bathroom sink did not drain causing it to be full of standing water within a half hour of our stay. We left as quickly as we could in the morning. The hotel was not expensive by comparison to big cities, but it was much more expensive than it was worth.

I have lived here for two years and its a great and affordable third floor suite. Best coffee in town in the lobby 😁.

We ate at the little sushi place inside and thought it was great. Then an expresso at the coffee shop..very cool place can't wait to go again!!

Great ambiance, beautiful architecture and decorations. Reminds me of old, western photos. There are also these amazing plants that you can tell have been around for years.

If you're allergic to cats you might want to steer clear they literally roam the halls like a common pet . I didn't mind them to much I thought it was kinda funny but someone else might have a reaction. As far the hotel itself the rooms are kind of run down I'm sure in its hayday it was something to see. If anything stop by and sit in lobby and have some coffee at the little coffee shop I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Absolutely beautiful historical hotel. Everything was very clean, the owner of the hotel was so nice, friendly and accommodating. She let my sister and Me sit and play the piano in the lobby for well over an hour. I am already looking for an excuse to.come.stay here again.

Must visit if you like historical architecture. Opened in 1920 (1923 depends on the source ;) ) and was never closed single day. You can get good coffee and some pastry at the hotel lobby. The building and furniture are certainly worth a visit!
