The Bean of Mesilla

I was passing through on my way from L.A. to FL, man am I glad I went here. Take it from me, I have found some great coffee shops all over the world, now I have found another one. Great artwork inside and out, extremely welcoming staff, quick service, good price and great coffee!!

Oh my gosh! It’s been many years since we’ve been here but the memories they instilled in us with feeling welcomed and great coffee as well as the unique breakfast basil on my eggs I had to grow The plant in my garden to try to replicate it and it comes up in our conversation The Bean Cafe and how we need to go on a road trip and arrive their for breakfast again as well as we tell others to stop over and try it, keep up the great work with awesome people serving with a smile and cheerful personality

Came by in the middle of the pandemic. Service was quick and the coffee good. Even in 100+ degree heat, sitting outside was really cool and relaxing due to the great atmosphere and shade!

FANTASTIC coffee shop in a beautiful area of Las Cruces.
Great staff, well, except for one woman which i don't remember her name that does not know what SMILE is.
Besides that. Great staff and customers. Bike riders, hickers, outdoor sports friendly coffee shop.

I highly recommend the SUPERBOWL breakfast.

This is our kind of place. No chain store action here. Old but in good shape furniture. Friendly service, a wonderful menu for bacon eggs and more. The Good Morning Muffin would be a regular for me I lived in Messilla or Las Cruces. As it is we stop on our way through to this place every time we can. I want this place to be in my home town

The coffee was bland and lacked flavour or aroma and was a little stale. I had an orange poppy seed something (wasn't a muffin, but flat) and it was also quite stale and hard and tasteless. The cafe itself is quite cosy and comfortable with interesting decor. I saw some food portions and they seemed very small for the price.

The Bean is one of the absolute BEST PLACES around! Great coffee / tea, extraordinary service, delicious food, wonderful selection of original artwork, and a beautiful outdoor patio. Truly - it is fabulous in all its entirety! Check it out!

Shockingly skimpy portions! Staff has never been nice; they act like a 20%+ tip isn't enough! I've been a few times (I like the patio), but I will NOT go again. (Are y'all sure this isn't a money-laundering front?! Bad vibes here.)

Very disappointed. I came here this morning with a friend, and we had to wait at least 20 min for our order. A scone and a breakfast panini. I asked where our order was, and the waiter said it was coming, but later asked us what kind of scone we ordered. After my panini arrived, I noticed that the potatoes were cold.
I told the waiter, he grabbed the plate without any apology and brought them back heated .... with a grumbling face.

Not a place that I would return to, where I am treated like i am at fault.

The weekend motorcyclist pit stop. Nice coffee and bakery. Careful, my complaint is no restroom service. To bad for a place like that. Very unsanitary situation.
