Westend Donut & Deli

This is exactly what a deli should be! We walked in, were greeted warmly and treated like family (the good way). I ordered a pastrami and it was wonderful. I thought the price was high, until the food showed up. The portions are NOT small. The 6 inch sub was easily 8 inches and they didn't skimp on any of the toppings either. The bread is obviously baked in house, and the coffee was fresh. I haven't eaten the doughnuts yet, but they look and smell stellar. The employees were friendly, smiles all around. Mom (owner) was sincerely friendly. I would happily eat here again. You should eat here too!

Best donuts I have ever tasted !!!! My husband and I were driving from Florida to Nevada and found this little gem!! Must stop! The staff was super friendly and the donuts omg !! They were fresh and delicious 😋 I would definitely make another trip!!

We had pepper turkey subs and they were amazing. The bread was obviously fresh and sooooo good toasted. Staff were friendly and service was quick. The donuts looked so good we had to get several to go. It was also cool that you could see their whole baking operation as you walked in and smell the fresh stuff baking. Would definitely go back if I ever pass this way again.

Had to come out to Gallup for work for 2 weeks, in 3/21, was so lucky to find West End Deli on my 2nd day. With all of gallup shut down the lines for food were ridiculous, my first day i spent 45 min in drive thru for panda express, just to be served cold food. Being open for 24 hours is a godsend for those working a off schedule. The food is fresh made every day, to include the bread for the subs. Breakfast has various burritos and pastries available, there is a 1/2 soup and sub lunch combo, and 10 different subs for a dinner selection. And if you like spicy, they got you covered, red and green chili's can be added to anything you desire. The owner is a fantastic man to have a conversation with, gives you tips and referrals to the local places to see and go. The setting is small and quaint, 20 or so people maximum. The subs are the best around, served warmed I throughly enjoyed the double meat roast beef and cheese. I can't praise the food and service enough. Will definitely make this a regular spot from now on.

We experienced the donuts and sandwiches here in 2013 back when a man who looked exactly like Walter white was the owner. Best donuts ever! In 2015 we drove through again and made a special point to stop by, unfortunately the owner has changed, but the donuts are still absolutely delicious! Best donuts in New Mexico! STOP HERE!

UPDATE: January 4th, 2018... It's pretty much a new tradition for us to stop here when we drive through! Seriously, West End Donuts has the best donuts on the planet! We've tried them all, from Washington state down the coast of California, to Washington DC and back again. Support small businesses!

Nice, clean little place with sit down tables. Everyone was so nice, and the owner was here abd very friendly. Great prices, and awesome donuts, pastries, and sandwiches. Will be back again before we leave the area and if I make it back to NM in the future.

This place is unassumingly awesome... My second time and I am not disappointed. The six inches sandwich is very filling...

I came here a month or two ago. Had the worlds worst experience on Route 666. I could not have met better people than the ones who run this restaurant. Both the husband and wife are some of the kindest and most generous people I have ever met. The pastries were to die for and the sandwiches were as delicious as they were huge. This is the lord’s sandwich shop.
