Today in Gallup, the weather was perfect for a pastrami and provolone sandwich, done the Westend Deli way. The bread is fresh, and the 6" roll actually measures more like 9". The meat and cheese are toasted in what looks like a salamander style broiler, until it is hot and the cheese is melted perfectly. The mayo, lettuce, tomato and dill pickle slices are perfectly chilled beneath the hot meat and cheese. I had mine with a freshly brewed cup of coffee the cafe way, and half-and -half. While the smell of doughnuts, breads and brownies were ever so tempting, I just couldn't indulge, it was tough walking away. The place is quaint and the food is satisfyingly good.

We came through around 4:30 in the morning and they were prepping breakfast burritos and baking their bread! The man who helped me was friendly and helped us out much. We got the capicola and cheese and the pastrami and cheese. It was well worth the money. It was one of the greatest sandwiches I've ever had! The bread was both soft but had that crunch when you bite in. Yum! I will definitely be back every time we road trip through Gallup.

The atmosphere is small town business and the signs are humourous! Perfect early morning dinner!

Traveling from Seattle to Florida. Didn't seem like there was anywhere to eat, but we decided to walk on over to this 24 hour place, and I AM SO GLAD WE DID!!! Great sandwiches and sweets. The place smells amazing and just makes you feel relaxed as soon as you walk in. The selection of sandwiches and drinks is great. Less we forget the Fantastic display of donuts, cookies, cake, tarts and more!
We got a foot long Pepper Turkey Bacon Avacado on soft house made wheat. So. Delicious. And I cannot wait to dive into the banana bread we got for breakfast tomorrow. Skip the fast food joints. This place is legit. 13 minute walk from the Red Roof Inn.

Love their donuts, but the customer service is lacking (from the lady who seems to be the manager or owner). If a business is going to charge $12+ for a sandwich, you’d hope that they would be happily willing to customize it.. unfortunately this was not the case in our situation, we received a nice dose of snarky-ness instead.

I have a customer since Mike opened his donut. I drove 1 hour in to get my roast beef with MJ cheese fix. An apple fritter for later. The yellow peppers are great with the sandwich. The customer service is awesome.

Stopped in for a quick lunch, thought it would be okay, walked in looked at the menu, looked at the chalkboard found a pastrami special, what was the price I ask? They told me $8.60 for a 6" . I said is that the special price because the regular price on the menu says that its $8.55.. so the special price was the same or even more than the regular price.. I wanted to know what's so special about that? I think they just made it up when they seen me walk in.
The lady said to me I know our prices are too high for you.. what she didn't know is I had a pocket full of cash in the price wasn't nothing to me.. I just needed some clarity and I wanted a fair price. I don't mind paying fair prices for good products.. I don't like being treated like I'm a freaking out Cast just because I'm.. let's just say different . I will never go back to this place ever.
When I called her on her pricing issue when it comes to the special that is advertised on the chalkboard versus the menu price...,
She Shrugged her shoulders as if to say oh well.. I walked right out

In my humble opinion, and I have trouble staying humble with my opinions, this is the best Deli in Gallup. The I've had the pastrami and also the turkey/bacon... awesome sauce! Oh, and make sure to take home some banana bread.

Best subs I have had. When ever in Gallup this is our go to! Fresh made dounuts and fresh made bread for their subs. Each 6 inch subs comes with a bag of regular chips and a pepperchini. Donuts are delicious. The best part of this place is their breakfast burritos that are only available for a limited time every morning. They sell out quickly so you have to get yours early!

Good subs a little pricey though.

Stopped here for an early dinner after a days worth of travel. Great customer service and the food was amazing! At 5pm they were still well stocked with donuts too.
