This is hands down my favorite coffee shop. Such an awesome small local business, so glad they are a part of our community! Fantastic coffee, tasty cookies, and great sandwiches. The owners are incredibly sweet. The baristas are as knowledgeable in their craft as they are friendly. If you haven’t stopped by yet, you should!

Blackwater is pretty much my home away from home, and it'll become yours, too! Certainly, the coffee and tea selection is superb, the pastries and sandwiches are outstanding and the atmosphere is inviting and relaxing, but it's the STAFF that makes this place so special! EVERYONE there, to a person, is helpful and kind, cheery and friendly! Blackwater is, without a doubt, my FAVORITE part of Clovis, New Mexico! Be sure to try their turmeric and ginger hot tea, my favorite!

This place is a total gem! The food is great, the atmosphere is incredible, and the customer service is top-notch. If you want a chill space to gather with friends, read a book, or whip out the laptop for some serious work, you definitely need to check out Blackwater!

Great coffee. Variety of selections. Inside is modern, plenty of seating. Items to purchase, tee shirts and stuff. Very impressed.

Even during Covid, they provide a safe, welcoming environment for both socialization and work. I adore working in coffee shops for the shared experience and serenity. I had my headphones in and working, and one of the baristas came up to offer me a free drink that another customer had not picked up. She even approached me slowly to make sure I saw her, understanding I was working. I will be back.

I get here at least once each month when I travel to NM for work.

Nice touches and friendly. Grab something yummy to eat or snack on there, order the coffee drink of your choice, get it to stay in a real mug, choose one of their comfy chairs, and do some reading or whatever in their high ceilinged modern space.

Love the atmosphere of Blackwater Coffee Co. It is always pleasant to have a cup of coffee in a real mug, greeted with a smile, and served quickly. Great place to visit with friends or to get some work done.

The atmosphere is comfortable. The service was impeccable and friendly. The hubs said his hot chocolate was the best he ever had. My hot caramel macchiato was superb. The blueberry scones... unmatched. Our 1st experience was fantastic.
