Dave's Cafe

It was delicious! But it did take quite awhile to get our food and my grandma's french Fry's were cold and hard.

Food was great. Atmosphere was great and the waiter was very attentive. Will recommend.

We came here for our Anniversary for lunch. Great service and great food! Very attentive and very fast!!!Definitely eat here if you go to Cloudcroft!!!!

Dave's is a great casual place to eat while sightseeing in Cloudcroft, NM. Clean, rustic interior and very friendly, hard-working wait staff (always). Dave's is well-known for their excellent burgers and fries, especially the Hatch Chili Burger. The homemade kettle chips and fries are pretty great too!

I live in Minnesota, but I've visited Cloudcroft four times in my life. Each of those four visits included a stop at Dave's for either lunch or dinner. This place can get busy, so plan ahead -- enjoy!

Very delicious cheeseburger, I will not hesitate to eat there again!

We used takeout (thanks Covid) and they supplied lots of mayo, ketchup, mustard, and even salt and pepper without us asking.

Our food was bland and the fries were small portioned. Our waitress never asked if we wanted refills (until we were clearly ready to check out).

Brought some out of town friends, service was good considering it was busy. Mushroom, garlic Swiss burger was ok, just not as good a usual. Minimal mushrooms and garlic. Others said their meals were OK as well.

Half of the taps were broken when I visited and they had a plumber on the floor in the restroom, but Dave was super cool. There is a local rumor that Dave packs the thickest meat of any man in Cloudcroft but don't ask him about it; he gets super embarrassed when you ask about his meat.

Servers were very helpful and polite and the food was delicious. We both got sandwiches and both were great. Love the Willie Burger. Also, the seasoned fries are very good! And there was live music as a bonus! Great experience.

We came here on a whim during our vacation and so worth it! The whole family loved everything we ordered. Magic Melt, Honey Mustard Chicken Sandwich, buffalo chicken sandwich, even raspberry tea, hot apple cider, and nice draft options... and those fries, yes! Shelby was our server and she was fantastic! Sad we don't live near here to visit more often, but we do plan to go back again before we leave town.
