Dave's Cafe

We stopped here while staying a night in Cloudcroft. This place is perfect. All of the food was excellent. We had the Willy burger, which had a great contrast of very grilled green chile and onions and lightly grilled crisp jalapeños. It had a nice kick to it. The chips were great, but the fries were even better. We also had the fried veggies basket, which has fried mushrooms, fried zucchini, and onion rings with a ranch sauce on the side. We also shared some tots with green chile and cheese. The service was fast. Everything was prepared perfectly, and the food was ready very quickly. There was live music while we were there, so that was a nice touch to the vibe of this restaurant. Our server was incredibly attentive to all of her tables, and she was managing a lot! Props to the team working tonight. They were amazing. I would highly recommend this place.

Was on a weekend get away in Cloudcroft NM from Phoenix. After much consideration we ended up choosing to try Dave's Cafe and I can say we were not disappointed. We were a party of 5 adults and a child and we all found different options to try. We tried 2 Bacon Cheeseburger, Open faced chili burger, and 2 patty melts. For the appetizers we tried the chili cheese fries, chili cheese tots, fried mushrooms, and fried zucchini. All the food was amazing and definitely worth the visit. We also got 3 Roy Rogers(which was the best I have had anywhere) and 2 Rootbeers. The reason i didn't leave a five star is because one in the party got sick afterward might or might not be because of the food. I apologize in advance for not providing all the fotos.

Great spot to stop by and grab a bite to eat while exploring. The servers were great. Ordered a Philly steak sandwich and it was tasty. The hand cut fries were the star of the show. Great time to visit Cloudcroft we didn't have to wait there were several tables open. Hope to see yall again in winter!

Good service and a decent Philly cheese steak sandwich but odd fries. They're almost soggy and do not have much flavor. Reminded me of how my mother used to fry potatoes in a pan of oil but at least they tasted better. While I'd go back, I'll stay away from the fries.

Nice place for breakfast. A very attentive staff and the food came our quickly. Has a nice atmosphere and lots to look at. The rack of beer taps is impressive.

Casual spot with a good menu selection. I had a veggie sandwich called Alex’s sandwich. I didn’t care for the fries but the onion rings were very good! Great prices and good services.

Excellent green chile burger & bacon cheeseburger. Terrific fries. The wine was skunky… service was lackluster, maybe needed an extra person working the lunch rush to help with tables and checkout (the wait to pay our bill at register was ridiculous).

The place is pretty cool. Has a bar, and a restaurant. They have live music on certain days. The burger we ate was very good. The burger comes with chips, you pay extra for fries. But the fries are not good. The service was was great.

A very chill place to have a nice ice cold beer and some yummy food.

I absolutely love their French Dip Sandwich, it’s delicious! Packed with roast beef, cheese and a delicious au jus sauce to dip it in. I also enjoy their Philly Cheesesteak and their Country Fried Chicken Sandwich. Both filling and tasty. When it comes to appetizers, you can’t go wrong with their fried mushrooms.

The service is good, the staff is friendly. Prices are comparable to others in the area. They do offer a variety of beers on tap, the selection changes periodically so it’s a great place to try out something new. They also have beer on cans and bottles, as well as a nice selection of wines.

This place has a very relaxed atmosphere, kid friendly. If you’re hungry, give this place a try! Honestly, try their French Dip Sandwich!

Stopped in for a day trip to New Mexico and ordered the melts. Those were great! But I want to say the sweet potato fries were AMAZING!!!! I love sweet potato fries and honestly my wife and I thought these were the best we have ever had and that isn't even an exaggeration! The waitress behind the bar was cheerful and greeted us right away. She got caught up at the register and when she came back apologized right away for the wait which I loved. Place was clean at the empty tables and floors. Definitely check the place out!
