I’ve been wanting to visit this place for a while and finally got a chance to today. This place is wonderful. You walk in and there is a very communal and relaxing atmosphere. I ordered the Aztec Latte and it was one of the best coffees I’ve ever had. My cousin ordered the Turkish Latte and it was equally as delicious. She’s lactose intolerant and they easily substituted with almond milk. Great coffee, great atmosphere. I can’t wait to go back.

A laid back cafe with a hip atmosphere to it. I could definitely see the appeal to sitting down with your laptop for a few hours or hanging out if that's your thing. I had the matcha latte, which is more of a chai latte with all the spices they add to it. Matcha is a delicate flavor that's best kept simple. The drink itself wasn't bad, but the matcha didn't shine through, and it was a bit overly-earthy and grainy for my tastes.

Now these people know how to make a cup of coffee! And do some perfect latte art! Plenty of options including matcha and chai lattes for folks who prefer non-coffee drinks. Parking can sometimes be tricky in this area, but stopping at Zendo is always worth it.

This is the best and my favorite coffee ever.
I love to try the different lattes they have.
The Aztec Latte is one of kind and my favorite with hints of dark chocolate and cayenne pepper.
And I always end up taking 2 bags of espresso beans home coz its soooo good..!!

Pleasant atmosphere, quick service, knowledgeable staff, and tasty drinks. I had the Turkish latte, which was great. The everything bagel left a bit to be desired, but this place was overall a good breakfast choice. The burrito and pastries were worth it. We’ll come back again.
There’s a brewery in the same courtyard; we want to check that out soon.

This is our go to coffee shop when the kiddos want to have a nice weekend morning with us. The coffee is always good. The local baked goods are great (partial to the sticky bun). The ambiance is enjoyable, and you can check out the revolving artwork displays. New pieces from new artists all the time. Check this place out.

Cute coffee shop that attracts a young hip crowd of students and professionals. Was glad to find some pastries, some of which were vegan, and also some vegan drink options. If I lived in the neighborhood, I would probably visit with some regularity.
However, the place has a few shortcomings that I noticed. For one thing, the default minimum tip is 18%. I always thought the standard tip amount was 15%. The good news is you can set a custom tip, or probably even skip the tip. But the 18% default tip just seemed rude and greedy. I thought this was a place for artists? Artists are not generally rich people. My pastry and a smallish hot chocolate set me back more than $12! At least the food was tasty.
If you come early in the morning, you may have to watch out for the blinding sun. They have some shades that help, but what they really need is an awning. Also, the front door does not close of its own as it should, so it is often open, allowing bugs and potentially rodents into the dining area. Most of the tables in the dining area are 10-foot long picnic style tables with equally long benches. Be prepared to climb into your seat and sit with strangers. The place apparently has no restrictions about dogs. A very large shaggy English sheepdog wandered in with his owner during my visit.
Still, given the relatively few options in this decidedly inner-city neighborhood, this is a good place to know about.

Awesome place, great set up. Great place for quick coffee run, and great environment to sit down and enjoy your coffee.
There espresso is great they have enough drinks to change up and not get bored or the classics for the people that enjoy there lattes.
All the workers are always friendly and helpful when having questions, they know all the regulars by name. Cant say enough good things about all of them.
They have a food menu, and pastries from the local shop BLUE DOOR PATISSERIE.
Can go wrong with any of the pastries from them.
Overall its my favorite coffee shop in Albuquerque because of the over all experience.
Great coffee counts alot but you have to have great customer service to really make a positive impact on your customers.

I *love* this place — even after moving away from ABQ, I still get their beans shipped
