Nestled in the downtown of Albuquerque on a somewhat rough neighborhood is one of the better coffee shops you could go to. It appears the block is revitalizing as I think a brewery is going in next door. They do one thing and that's coffee, it's very good and they have several unique drinks but I have not seen on other menus. It's not a large space inside but you can sit and drink your coffee and I believe there is a outdoor seating in the summer.
Cute little coffee shop with really delicious lattes. The menu has a lot of unique drinks. The cashier and the barista guy were very friendly and nice ...the African American lady that was helping needs to pick up her game! Very rude and antsy, also when service pastries and working behind the counter you don't stick your hands down your shirt to fix your cleavage!!!
I am visiting from out of state and came here two days in a row. The vibes are great — plenty of space indoor and out for working from home during the week. I love that they default to coffee ice cubes for their cold brew.
I really enjoy going to Zendo. This coffee house is like no other in Albuqurque. Zendo has a great selection of coffees, teas, espressos and lattes made with their locally roasted coffee. They also make some unique iced drinks. Among my favorites, the sparkling lavender ginger lemonade. So refreshing slightly peppery sweet, top this off with a hit of lavender and you have magic. It’s heavenly for my taste buds. They also carry a nice selection of fresh baked goods from Witching Flour a local bakery. Kudos for supporting other local businesses. Zendo has amazing amazing natural light from their huge skylights, which creates a calming and relaxing state of mind. The staff is friendly and professional, who can ask for anything more. A bit of goodness in all they do.
I love the atmosphere here, it's such an enjoyable place, beautiful artwork, beautiful furniture, and their back patio area is so wonderful to sit in with more great art, tables and benches. It's well covered for the hotter months too. Their coffee and pastries are great, my biggest, and possibly only gripe is I wish they had larger drink sizes. It's really just the one size on their lattes, and while they are very tasty, I just always want more, but they're not cheap. Anyway, highly recommend checking this place out.
We took the time to get off the road to visit this place because of their wonderful reviews. So I would like to add to that. The drinks specifically the tea lattes were delicious and invigorating. I was able to drive for another 6 hours and I wasn't keyed up or anxious. The food, the pastries they obtained from local vendors, was amazing as well. Fresh, not too sweet yet just enough, and portions were perfect. It's a little crowded because the locals understand what a treasure they have. However every single one of them to a person was kind and offered places to sit. Definitely a return on the next way through town!
The specialty drinks here are extremely unique and memorable. So far I've had the Turkish Latte and the Aztec Latte with oat milk, both phenomenal. The cayenne pepper in the Aztec Latte had some heat to it, which I loved! The sky lights, art, and plant displays let us know we've found a truly local coffee house. Winning!
Yum! What a great place to stop, mid bike ride! I snagged a beautiful and delicious Aztec Latte (with extra shots and macadamia milk!) while my partner enjoyed his first Long Black. We shared a moist and nutty coffee cake before heading out. The service was fast and friendly, and the atmosphere is calm and homey. We will definitely be back!

I just said an unforgettable, dark roast espresso here!
If you’re looking for that strong, dark bold hit – this is it!
If you’re in the downtown Albuquerque area and you want a unique espresso experience, then definitely come to Zendo.
Spacious inside and out.
Five big stars.

Great downtown coffee shop. The mocha was delicious and wasn’t overpowered by the cocoa. Great indoor seating and vibe.
