Wonderful coffee beans. Honestly, my favorite roaster in town as of this review. Found this place when a local food truck set up shop on the front curb and continue to go back once or twice a month for a pound of beans. Atmosphere is lovely and the location is perfect if you are in the old-town area. Even if you aren't an ABQ resident it's worth the drive down. I do it 😁👍🔥☕

I visit Slow Burn multiple times a week! The staff are all so kind and everyone makes nice conversation with me. I love their burritos, matcha, and the cafe smells amazing on the days they make chai in-house. Major appreciation for all the staff that make it through the busy times of day when the line is out the door! Be kind to your baristas- they put up with and do so much. Thank you all for everything you do :)

The coffee is good, the staff is friendly, but they allow dogs indoors. They bark loudly at each other, and I can't imagine that is allowed by the health code. I think perhaps some the younger generation who bring their dogs everywhere may like enjoy the place, but I'm going to find a new café.

Great coffee, atmosphere & service - unsettling, and harsh music. Would have rated a "5" but for the music selection which drove us out sooner than we wanted. Been looking for another local coffee shop to support -- loved everything but the music.

The other local coffee shops are great too but slow burn does everything right. The lattes are never too sweet, the coffee never tastes burnt. Horchatta latte is everything. Plus good burritos and pastries.

I had thought this morning to go to the coffee shop to get some work done. It was a good experience but went in the wrong direction because of a bad interaction with one of the employees. I give this place one star. The guy that takes the order is nice and provided great customer service. He had a great personality. The girl that was helping him was not so great. I asked her for some paper towels and she gave me one paper towel. I didn’t want to use the paper napkins because I think those cost more money to purchase than absorbent paper towels. She gave me one paper towel and then she flicked her hand at the paper napkins and mumbled something. I assume she was saying to use the paper napkins. I went to the restroom and used the paper towels from there instead. There was a little mess of water that I wanted to clean up. I won’t be coming back here anymore. Super rude. This is not the Sister bar, be more respectful to people.

Fantastic! Some of the best coffee I’ve ever had.

Cool coffee place in Downtown. If you liked Prismatic Coffee, you'll like it here. Had a great mocha latte, and prices were good. The aesthetic in interesting mix between minimalist, and psychedelic. It's a little out of the way for me, but I'll be back!

Love this place! I'm not on this side of town very often, but I make sure to stop by every time I'm in the area. The cold brew and red chile chai are fantastic. I tried the vegan burrito for the first time the other day, and I was immediately in love with it. The baristas are great too!
