Really great roasting and coffee. Hands-down the best regular old latte in Albuquerque.
Staff is friendly and service is surprisingly fast compared to other 3rd wave coffee institutions in this city.
There's ample space indoors to spread out and get work done or meet with a small group. Out doors has ample retro patio furniture.
Highly recommended!

Lovely coffee but we were charged $2 each for a breve upgrade on $5 lattes. After chatting with the barista a bit she told us it’s Rasband dairy and the price is high. Obviously understandable but $2 seemed a little excessive. Saw 1 pint of Rasband at Sprouts for $2.69. Disappointing to be gouged by a great local coffee shop that otherwise was a wonderful experience.

Absolutely delicious specialty lattes and chai lattes! Definitely a hidden gem in Albuquerque 🙂 Breakfast burritos are worth trying and pairs excellently with the coffee! Awesome vibe here too.

Great smooth & potent coffee, best drip coffee you’ll ever experience. Even when it’s quite busy, there’s always seems to be an open seat and table. Their roaster sits prominently in the middle of the store, rather than hidden in a back room. Hope to catch them roasting some green beans sometime.

Cute coffee shop! Simple menu but sometimes keeping simple allows for some great quality. That's what you'll find at Slow Burn. They have wifi and lots of tables. Overall, great space to work or catch up with a friend over a cup of coffee.

Great espresso for a decent price. Great atmosphere. Tables outside to enjoy spring or summer.

A new coffee spot has come out of the pandemic full roast Ahead. I can say I really enjoyed their brew. I always try to get something simple so I can actually taste the coffee and it did not disappoint. Americano with nothing in it. Great tasting coffee aroma and that caffeine boost I was looking for on the weekend.

Excellent location, beautifully kept space, and well-extracted espresso! Passing through and glad I stopped here :) Only thing I didn’t vibe with was the customer service.

Finally got a chance to stop in for a coffee and I was not disappointed. The latte was rich and creamy without being cloyingly sweet and obstructing the coffee taste. The Mexico Ek Balam (washed process) pour over is easy to drink, very light acidity and mellow but with a full coffee flavor. One sip and I closed my eyes and thanked the java gods and finished my cup in no time. I ordered a second cup and promised myself to savor it. Slowing down, I began to feel the warm mellow vibes. The staff is very friendly and helpful in explaining their menu which, is a rotating menu and keeps the choices fresh and away from the same old daily grind, if you'll pardon the java parlance. Yes, I love coffee and yes, I'll be visiting this place as often as I can.

Easily the best latte in Albuquerque. I live right next to little bear uptown and I go all the way downtown to get my latte here. They are killin it at the coffee game! Staff was very nice when I went in. Hopefully that stays the same. I'd highly recommend trying Slow Burn out!
