This place has great beers on tap and surprisingly great food! I ordered the green chili and it was amongst the best I had in New Mexico. Loaded with meat, green Chiles, beans and potatoes! The portion size was substantial.
We sat at the bar and the bartenders were super attentive and happy to discuss other places we should visit in town.

I can't speak for Sister as a concert venue, as I've never seen a show, but it's probably my favorite place to get dinner in the whole city. I will happily take time out of my day for that brisket. I don't even have to drink! If I do, Erin is a fabulous bartender. Shout out to her. Service can be slow/hectic on the weekends or Taco Tuesday, but it's worth it.

My favorite bar in town. Delicious cocktails, delicious food, great beer selection.

As much as it's my favorite bar in town, I have to start by saying they have some of the best tacos in Albuquerque, served late and inexpensive. Wash them down with a huge variety of beers, including locals, on tap or enjoy great specialty mixed drinks. A cool, welcoming vibe without pretension. A great stop anytime of the day, including Sunday brunch.
It's the bar you go to to meet up with your friends and be surrounded by the hipper, and some hipster, downtown crowd.

Great show lineups throughout the year and quality tacos all day. 5️⃣⭐

The brisket tacos. Damn.
Well that was my review from a while back...but the tacos are gooooone! One of the best things about here was the tacos and low cost tots with red chile. Gone. All gone. Just like any other mediocre bar menu now. So sad. I craved these tacos. Bah.

It had a strange odor from the moment we arrived. I'm sure it's a great music venue but we didn't stay or eat because the smell didn't sit right.

Tots are the best in town. Great local music. Bartenders bad.

Pretty dang good for a dive-bar.
I'm not down on dive-bars; I have nothing against them. I prefer them to a noise club/bar.
They have tacos and tots; a combination I DIDN'T know I needed in my life until I tried them. Very delicious.
Also, a great selection of retro arcade games!

I don't know if dismissive attitudes are considered "cool" or considered as a "counterculture" in confusion of being rude, when it comes to many of its bartenders.
While the female staff offer great customer service that exemplifies a high-level engagement. The male bartenders treat people like complete trash! Even the simplest conversation, compliments, or even simple statements will grant you the evil eye. Frankly, I don't understand the logic, why treat people like trash if it damages your profits. Moreover, as a journalist is creates a dangerous precedence for any new-commers.
