Been three times and the coffee hasn't been so great, but probably just a matter of personal tastes. I prefer darker roasts and what they call their "darkest" roast would be a medium anywhere else, and on the lighter side at that! But forget the coffee, it's the Blue Corn Lavender donuts that will keep me coming back!
Staff is very friendly too :-)

9/23 I used to come here often because they have the best avocado toast I ever had. Today is the third day that I've arrived that they've been out of avocado toast. The first time they ran out of the jam and the last two times their avocados were not ripe enough. To add insult to injury they were completely out of burritos as well and they offered three different types of burritos. Their inconsistency is extremely frustrating and non reliable.
9/25 Ownership responded to my comment with reasoning of why they have been out of stock and a gift card for inconvenience. This is a nice gesture. I revised my rating. I still stand by my conclusion that if avocados are out of season then the toast should be temporarily removed from the menu. I commute 15 minutes to Humble just for the toast.

The breakfast burrito had a really odd texture to it. The egg kind of crumbled. It was weird. The coffee was ok. What was nice is the outdoor seating option.

i used to love coming into humble! Always professional, kind and nothing but positive vibes! i hate to say as of lately the vibes a little more hostile and almost has a bit of a starbucks feel. i feel comfortable saying it may just be the attitudes of the new talent. confrontational and a bit pushy. but other than that i love the remodel and the added space it came out absolutely amazing and as always they still have some of the best coffee in the state. thanks humble for being awesome.

I love this place. Great staff, great snacks and pastries, and really heat coffees and teas. My only complaint is that the last couple of mochas I've gotten tasted burnt, but I thinks that's just a preference. So glad to have them in the neighborhood!

Prices are too high for the amount of coffee you get, but that isn’t the biggest concern here.

It is 2019 and they don’t serve iced coffee. That’s right, the closest thing they have is a watered down cold brew. The hot coffee was decent at best and lacked a variety of flavors.

The only good thing about the place is the beautiful shop. The design was great and gave an authentic coffee shop feel. I only wish the coffee was good.

But no worries, you can always go to the piñon coffee house and get delicious coffee and food. I wasn’t incentivized to say this but I think it’s necessary for people to know of a better alternative.

Wow, how disappointed we were. We just moved into the neighborhood and everyone raved about Humble. We went on a Monday about noon and could not have been more underwhelmed. The staff was unfriendly and downright unwelcoming (it was NOT busy). They did not offer a single smile or "thank you." Not. A. Single. One. Heck, even when I said "thank you" as I picked up our drinks, all I got was a blank stare. The drinks were good, but not great--both were very gritty--a pumpkin chai latte and an iced matcha latte. On top of that, the pumpkin spice latte was luke warm. Doubt this will become our neighborhood coffee shop as there are too many choices in Nob Hill.

This is a very unique place it's not like Starbucks which is a breath of fresh air . a huge plus in my book. Sometimes you need to get out of chain coffee houses . Staff is very mindful and very nice. Parking is a bit of a challenge yet worth it. I will be going back.

Really conflicted because the coffee here is always really tasty but the staff often has a very pretentious vibe about them. There are a few staff members that are usually nice, but more times than not I’m pretty nervous to go up and order because they tend to seem really grumpy/inconvenienced by customers. I live near by and go every couple of weeks so it’s not enough of a problem to not go there, it’s just uncomfortable to be treated like you’re hassling the staff to just place an order. Been going here for a couple of years and always noticed this, but this morning the woman who took my order was especially rude (granted there was only two people working behind the counter while it was quite busy so I get that that’s stressful). I normally go on the weekend so maybe I’m just there at a time when they’re feeling particularly overwhelmed/grumpy. Perhaps just focus more on responding better to stressful work environments. No need to take it out on customers ya know.

Wonderful space, great coffee beverages but also an excellent selection of delicious teas and treats! Priced reasonably, clean tables, clean bathrooms. Wonderful service.
