I took a friend here. She wanted to know why I think it is one of the best breakfast spots in town. I told her the eggs were fluffy and that is hard to accomplish! And sure enough, she was blown away! Good food, good people! I had the french toast and it was YUM! What else can you ask for ?

I like this place, but it seems like their burrito is getting smaller.... The grande burrito used to be bigger!! And now I got a junior burrito for my grande. Very disappointed. Also, I asked for green chili on the side for my takeout order, they didn’t give me any!! I guess if you want to buy food there, you should probably just eat there. This is not their first time mess up my takeout order!

03/2019: picture is an order of their $7.95 veggie burger, don’t suggest you order their burgers because the only food you will get is just a burger( didn’t come with ANYTHING!) The price is very expensive for a single burger,$7.95!!

1/2022: My family ordered a smothered burrito with red and green. Unfortunately, the burrito was handheld instead of smothered. The green chile sauce inside made the burrito pretty soupy- red chile doesn’t have much flavor. It’s always disappointing to not get what you pay for.

Color me impressed. I visited from the weekend from Los Angeles, and the food and staff were so good that I stopped by twice.

My first meal, I had the chilaquiles which was comforting, filling, and a nice way to experience some New Mexican cuisine -- then followed up the next day with a generously portioned chicken fried steak and eggs.

The portions and prices are more than generous. The food is simple, but executed well -- and the staff is friendly and attentive. One highlight was the homemade biscuit that came with the chicken fried steak -- light, fluffy, delicious.

Please stop by this great restaurant when you're in the area.

We were visiting the Albuquerque downtown area and stopped by Central Grill and Coffee House because of the reviews. The food and friendliness did not disappoint. The owner and staff take pride in their food and service. I had the avocado toast with eggs special both days that we went.

The owner is a wonderful man who checks on customers. It was truly a 10/10 experience.

Good place to go for breakfast before heading into Old Town Albuquerque. We had the eggs Benedict and chiliquilles and eggs. Both came with hash browns that were cooked crispy like we like them. Fresh squeezed orange juice too.

I’ve been coming to this place since it opened, and out of my 50+ at least times coming here - it’s been AMAZING. Every. Single. Time. I consider it a special treat every time I get to come here. Amazing owner and workers as well. Thank you guys for all your hard work!

Excellent food! The breakfast burritos are always fresh and steaming hot as soon as you lay into it with the first bite. I have had this place a few times, once at church during a conference (Legacy Church is amazing!!) and twice while working. I love the atmosphere and the staff is super friendly and welcoming. Can’t wait to go back and try something and bring my family!! Thanks Central Grill!

Come for the food. Don't mind everything else. The delicious food is the reason to pay this place a visit. Service is average at best. A few staff are helpful and friendly, but most look unhappy and too focused on their side duties.

Fantastic food. Exceptional service. Absolutely wonderful experience here. Small local business just on the edge of old town, easy access to start your morning before shopping or take a lunch break. The service here is just outstanding. Super friendly to start, and they went out of their way. They ran out of skim milk for a latte, and instead of telling us “too bad”, they asked us if we didn’t mind waiting, they would go to the store and buy some. The latte was great too. The food was delicious- their pancakes really are the best in town. You must try them! The specials are also fantastic and all the food is cooked to perfection. They do offer a pretty wide variety of food, both breakfast and lunch items. At the end of our meal the owner even stopped by to ask how everything was. Very nice gentleman, it’s obvious he truly cares about his business and people’s experience there. HIGHLY recommend eating here!!!

Local breakfast spot with counter service and ample indoor and outdoor seating. Staff was so kind and welcoming. We enjoyed our breakfast which was walkable from our hotel and from The Historic District. Would return.
