Great coffee but they need to get better cup covers, my hot coffee always leaks

I always enjoy stopping in RCC for a perfect cup of tea or coffee. The shop is small, but quaint and friendly. Street parking is usually plentiful and nearby, and the shop is located centrally so you can grab and go, walk the streets and enjoy.

Not just any coffee shop/café could survive in a place like Ridgewood NJ (or anywhere Bergen County) without also serving food or alcohol--so that alone should put their level of quality in perspective. RCC's been doing just that for well over a decade. This place was the first place to start serving Specialty Coffee anywhere in the area--way before latte art and instagram/social media-focused shops started being made. I have been going here since the early 2000's and the staff have been consistently amazing people and really talented baristas. In the past, I've even had the pleasure of working here as well--and so I can speak equally highly from my perspective on both sides of the counter. If my opinion isn't enough, they've also been consistently voted Best Coffee in Bergen County--and it takes more than just proper equipment to achieve that kind of quality and consistency. It probably helps that they use a fellow northern NJ neighbor, Amalthea Coffee Roasters, as their craft-coffee roaster for specialty beans, single origins, and espresso.
Tl;dr: definitely go here.

Amazing coffee. Love the care they take in all their roasts, especially the experimental ones! Between the skilled and knowledgeable baristas and the beautiful La Marzocco machine, I can't thing of a better place to get coffee from in the North Jersey area.

Very disappointing. 7-11 has better cappuccino. My wife ordered a Vietnamese coffee which was undrinkable. Tasted off. Very off. She threw it in garbage when we left.

It's very hard for any good coffee shop to sustain a high quality product for a long time. RCC has been doing it with first rate standards for years. Great team of baristas and management. Others have come into town with an expensive machine and beans but are they *consistently* better than Starbucks? RCC is on another level... There's something about the culture of a great organization that is much harder to achieve. Bravo RCC!

This is our fourth time revisiting Goose Feathers. We have always enjoyed the atmosphere and selection available to patrons. Our first visit was in the spring of2020 to arrange our daughter's destination September wedding and try out places to eat. Our most recent visit was January of 2018. Goose Feathers staff is friendly, quick an professional. The breakfast & lunch selections are plentiful. One of our favorites is the salmon BLT, which cost about $9. The breakfast were plentiful and the shrimp & grits quite good. The location is great, near so many shops and excellent walking tours.

Love the matcha lattes and atmosphere (save the music). I can't stay here longer than 1hr without getting a migraine from the music--it's pretty loud and head bang-y, not what you'd expect from a quaint coffeeshop

They serve the best coffee In Bergen County! Since my partner and I are really picky about espresso and mostly make our own coffee at home on weekdays. We have tried coffee in many different places in other towns, but most of them are either burned or tasteless. That’s why we only come to Ridgewood Coffee on weekends to start a day with a cup of wonderful coffee is our ritual ;-)

An excellent coffee place. Come here almost every Saturday we’re in the neighborhood. Particularly like that the espresso drinks are the right size (I.e. small).

Service is always good.
