Disappointed. Waited for close to 15 minutes. Had a large Cherry Mocha (special) that was $7. Don't want to go to a coffee shop if I have to wait that long for something that expensive that tasted "average," not bad, but not great.

As of August 2017 This is now The Eclair Cafe. Signage still says It’s a Grind Coffee House (Apparently has something to do with the township and owners of the property) inside is a very different atmosphere and menu. Check it out.

Meant to come here for years but never did. The coffee was good (actually had a latte) and atmosphere inviting. Only disappointment was that the pastry case was nearly empty so I was forced to pick something that wasn't even my 1st, 2nd, or 3rd choice. Very Starbucks vibe but slightly homely. I will come back but hope there’s more food options next time.

Nice coffee and nice eclairs cake with chocolate on it. Pleasant clean and wonderful music around

I appreciate the good quality flavor syrups but the ambience is not cohesive and it is obvious that not much effort has been put into the design of the cafe. The prices are that of a nice coffee shop and this is not that. Until more effort and time has been put into the design and atmosphere of the cafe, I will not be returning.

I am not picky on my coffee, so I am just contributing to things I look for in a coffee place. Wifi was great. Seating was spacious but not comfortable - what I mean is the chairs are not cushioned. So I guess they did not want customers to stay for too long. Also, for a medium cup of coffee, it cost $3.18 - I am guessing prices will go even higher as the minimum wage is going into effect by July. I am sorry to say that some of us might need to cut this and that.

I used to go to this cafe for couple times before. But my recent visit has been unpleasant.
First of all , cafe like this should have their own style of making coffee and should maintain it. You don’t say to any of the client before their purchase that “the coffee will not be like Starbucks”. If they want something like Starbucks, let them go there.
THIS IS STRICTLY NOT for the crowd who wants to grab a coffee in a plastic cup in one hand and a laptop in the other and run to the train station to catch the morning train to NYC. Please, so called “”Professionals”” THIS IS NOT the place for you.
This cafe is for different crowd who wants to spend time to have a nice coffee and peaceful time.
The atmosphere here is changing day by day.
Please continue to maintain the quality of service what you had before and please train the new employees how the real coffee should be made, not replicating to any franchise artificial coffee.

I've recently moved to Plainsboro. Coming from North Jersey, I'm so used to Dunkin Donuts and Starbucks. I've come to the Grind about 5 times now and it has not disappointed. Their coffee is the best I've ever tasted as well as their quiche and snacks. And the staff and service is nothing but stellar. Keep up the good work guys!

The food menu is kind of confusing and hard to read. The servers are friendly. It takes a little while for the drinks to be make, but they taste really good. The drinks are pretty expensive. The color of the store is a weird blue. Other than that, no complaints. Overall, I was pretty satisfied.

This used to be an ok independent coffee shop, but it's recently been transformed into a GREAT one! Focus with respect to food is on quality, not choice, but the quiches & baked goods & tea (I don't drink coffee) are outstanding. Really! They replaced an intensely noisy refrigerating display cabinet with nice new ones. It's now a pleasant place to work. There's music — recently 80s alternative — but not too loud or intrusive. I hope more of Plainsboro improves like this!
