a real-deal latte which was well crafted and the olive oil cake was also delicious. the space itself was beautiful & open. i love that they use counter culture as their coffee. the baristas were all very welcoming & kind. i look forward to my next visit.
Amazing, authentic cappuccino! We happened upon this place on opening day. We used to come to the old coffee place in this spot and have missed it, but honestly, Luminary is even better! The atmosphere is lovely and new decor is open and inviting. Highly recommended!
Went here for the first time yesterday 2-18 & I have to say that the coffee was great as well as the blueberry lemon hand pie. I got the Lavender latte & I loved it. Only reason I give 4 stars is because the workers in there seemed very stuck up (man in photo & other lady) and had a bad look on their face when we walked in and as we ordered. My husband said thank you to the guy when he received his coffee and he didn’t say anything back. Mind you, the place was empty btw, so it wasn’t like they were rushing or trying to hurry. Besides that, food was great!
Such a cute shop. Super friendly staff. Delicious pour overs. I recommend the Ceremonial Mass Appeal. I drove over an hour to check out this new shop and was not disappointed in the slightest. Will be back soon!
Lambertville has another outstanding coffee option! Luminary is a beautiful, bright art-filled space perfect for sipping one of their well crafted espresso drinks. Don't miss out on the heavenly Pie Bird Farm hand pies and Curiosity donuts, either. Friendly, welcoming vibe. Love it!
I h8 to leave a so-so review but i tried the cold brew and both the coffee and barista was meh. not very friendly. Although I am a barista myself (not starbucks dw) so i know my standards are a bit higher than most. Cool vibe though with the open garage door and spacious seating. I like the interior design.
Have visited Luminary Coffee a couple times now and their coffee, teas, lattes, and baked goods are as delicious as they are beautiful. Staff is friendly and the space is lovely. So happy to have Luminary Coffee in Lambertville!
We are locals and this was our first time here. Cappuccinos were legit. Place is cool and clean. We came on a Saturday when downtown was pretty busy but Luminary was fast and efficient and there were still seats available. We were not sure if it was the day or the crowd but even though the place was full and light music was playing you could hear a pin drop. We found ourselves whispering, like everyone else was, and we felt like we were in a library. It was odd and hopefully it was just the day. We’ll give it another shot.
This coffee shop is a winner! I appreciate the special touches, like the latte art on my delicious coffee drink. The music selections are cool and add to the ambiance without being overwhelming. The space is open and airy, and seating is comfortably spaced. The temperature is cozy and bright despite being a rainy day. WiFi is fast and reliable. I highly recommend this place.
I love trying new coffee places and I’ve been here 4-5 times now. However, I likely won’t be going back. The service is by no means rude, but they just generally seem uninterested in being there or helping you. The prices are very high, especially for the small drink sizes. I’ve had food a couple of times and the flavors have always been mediocre and the food came out burnt both times after getting it heated up. Finally, the hours just don’t work for my schedule. 8a on the weekend is just too late. I am a morning person and love going to a coffee shop first thing, but I recognize that’s not a problem for everyone.
