An ultimate hipster coffee spot. Tiny, cute, edgy, bustling with hipster crowd and positive energy. Barristas are amazing: witty, chatty, helpful and overall cool. Coffee is fantastic; my personal favorite is nitro cold brew on a hot summer day! Vegan breakfast (I've tried delish overnight oats) and dessert options are available. In the mornings, Modcup coffee truck is parked at 475 Marin Blvd, I believe Monday thru Friday. Modcup Coffee Company, please keep it up!
Had the WORST experience today. I've been there previously and I loved the vibe, and always had good convo. Went in today and my card was having issues on reader. He pretty much grabbed my phone to do it, and when it still didn't work asked for my physical card. I told him I didn't; and began explaining. He was clearly annoyed and not listening so I said, "oh you don't care what I'm saying," and he smiled n laughed. I had another card on me so no issue... just horrible customer service and clearly he only cared about the money not people. I won't be back.
I don’t understand the appeal of this place. It’s overpriced, mediocre, and has terrible service. The servers are incredible rude (one scolded me for asking for cream in my coffee), because something something ruining the taste of coffee. Trust me, the coffee wasn’t particularly good in the first place. Such pretentious hipsters
I got the hot 16 oz, with oat milk and a shot of hazlenut. They have huge pour over machines, traditional drip coffee etc. and they seemed to be more for show. The barista got the coffee out of a pump carafe. I got the bottom of the barrel of one and some of the next one they had lined up, and the coffee ended up not even being luke warm at best right as it was handed to me. He also didn't shake the oat milk before he poured it in which meant I only got what was separated from the top which you could tell from the color of it as well. I paid $5 to take 3 sips and throw it out a few steps down the street. Seems like this more of a novelty hipster spot more interested in selling the beans and branded apparel than what is supposed to be their craft. I was very disappointed - was hoping for this to be my new local shop. Also no seating inside as some others have stated, its a walk up counter in a (fortunately for them) great area of town, right across the street from Riverview park.
The best cold brew in town! I was lucky to experience the iced kyoto and learned of the process from Kim, the onsite resident expert. He was so generous with his time and knowledge share that Ill certainly return weekly for this unique and delicious brew!
High quality coffee beans and fresh baked treats, I just wish they do a proper pour over… I can make drop coffee at home… they have a pour over machine in the coffee shop, but didn’t use it :/ I also wish they had more seating inside… I heard it was better back in the day.

Great place & Vibe. They are knowledgeable about each type of coffee & love trying their different blends. Also the atmosphere being steps from Riverview Park & the amazing panoramic city views 🤩🤩🤩 highly recommend!!

Awesome coffee, cool decor and friendly staff. They have a small and clean bathroom here too.

The best coffee with the most unique flavors! The way their artisan growers infuse a floral and fruit flavors is incredible!

Cool place with good coffee, but they charge a ton of $ for plant based milk so I have to bring the coffee home to add it.
