Black Turtle Coffee

This place is a must try! The staff is super friendly and the coffee is AMAZING! The bombshell blend is perfect as it comes, no additions necessary. It’s so nice to have a place to get coffee on the island.

I hadn't thought of it while I was there, but, I purchased a Vanilla Cappuccino, & Dirty Chai. I wasn't offered different sizes when I ordered without specifying( Large was made). I was charged $14.93
I did not see prices listed anywhere in the shop & I heard later that Gratuity is added to orders. Another commenting customer indicated a $2.00 gratuity added automatically to their order (total before tax unknown- but inappropriate ,regardless)
My questions are: 1. How much is a Large Dirty Chai (L. Vanilla Cappuccino)? 2. Was Gratuity added to my order without asking or consent?
I paid cash & was not given, or even offered, a receipt. Additionally, I was asked if I could pay with card or cashless to avoid making change with coins. I said, "no". That was fine & change including coins was made. I think businesses should accept any Legal Tender payment without prompting a paying customer to change the method presented.

Second visit to this place after six months and the service is still so slow. It would be nice to be greeted by the staff when you enter. Just a quick hello and we’ll be right with you.

Great customer service, and great quality product. Overall this place is a go to, considering how cool it looks inside, how nice and kind the baristas are, and how great the coffee is!

We each had a "bombshell" roast and, from the first sip, we both agreed that it was the best cup of coffee we ever had. The staff was very friendly. Great atmosphere!

Probably one of the best cups of coffee I’ve had! Will be stocking up on some beans to take back to Philly because nothing else around can compare in quality, flavor and freshness!

Fantastic hot, mocha latte~ they even make it extra hot which is my favorite!! The Black Turtle is our new go to spot for sure!!!! 🐢

Cool looking place, great service and very personable. But, Prices are outrageous! $14.00 for a double shot latte, no thanks! Im a lifetime local, not a shoobie on vacation!!
