Great food! Amazing pancakes! Staff was extremely friendly. Will be coming back next time I’m in the area!

This place is so amazing as it's definitely home style cooking and you can't ask for better for or prices! Service is amazing also.

Between the people that work here, the pricing, and how delicious the food is, there's truly no better breakfast spot in the area. I eat here twice a week, can't beat it!

Never made it inside. No handicap entrance visable.
I was almost certain that there would be. Key here is visable. I must see the access or a sign designating it.

Greasy spoon type diner. The home made toast is great, but most of the breakfast items give me heartburn eventually. Food is basic, but well made.
Price is hard to beat, which is a big part of why I keep coming back.

Food was excellent. The plate is full even though the price is low. I definitely didn't expect this. I recommend you stop in for some good food.

Shyrl's is the epitome of a classic diner where you can find sumptuous homemade cuisine. It pleases all of the senses from the cheeky decor to the savory aromas. The service is prompt and provided with down to earth New England charm. Shyrl's has an expansive breakfast and lunch menu including tempting specials. The clinchers for me were the large portions and the affordability.

The food was good (homemade bread for toast was delicious!) but the waitress was SO grumpy despite us asking politely and using lots of please and thank you’s. She was complaining at us and muttering under her breath (but loud enough for us to hear) because we inquired about ham instead of sausage on a menu item (if you can’t or won’t substitute, just say so!). During the meal my daughter wanted some water but didn’t want to ask because she was afraid the waitress would yell at her! I asked “can you please get us some water when you have a chance”? and her reply was “IF I have time” as she walked away!! Is that not your job when you’re a waitress? (I’ve been a waitress!). Despite the good food, I don’t think we’ll be back anytime soon!
