Cup of Joe Cafe & Bar

We don't need social justice PSAs everywhere we turn in this place, we're all just trying to get some caffeine & move on with our day. Crazy to think the local Starbucks has less pandering going on than this place. Thanks for being open about your far-left views though, won't be spending money here ever again & will go somewhere where my coffee isn't politicized. Seems like I'm not the only review to have issues with this either.

It's a really nice coffee shop! The inside is cool and features lots of neat decor and comfortable wall seating with pillows. Water pitchers and glasses are set at each table. Space is plentiful for a coffee shop and there are two clean restrooms for patrons. A tea shop occupies the space in the rear of the shop. Overall a pleasant experience. The coffee was great, I will return.

Beautiful. Great barista. Husband loved his hot coco & I got a delicious dairy free cappuccino.

Coffee and pastry were good, but the atmosphere was uncomfortable because of the overt "social justice" messaging and vibe. Overheard an employee talking poorly about different customers to another employee- very unprofessional.

Funny that the people obsessed with "inclusivity" are so good at making people feel unwelcome.

Such an awesome little coffee shop with wonderful girls. The coffee was just what we needed for our drive to Bar-Harbor and we got some great suggestions for a second half of the journey in Portland as an added bonus. These are the places that energize our little gems of towns spread across the U.S. We stopped off for a quick bite and some coffee for the road trip, but we might be inspired to return on the way back to Boston with our Cups ready to visit with Joe and the girls again!

This place is very cool. We were just taking about how cool a coffee-bar would be! Great selection of craft beers and very good coffee! Liked the atmosphere and the live music. Will go next time we are back in the area.

Coffee was good but not enough syrup was added to give it the flavored taste

A very popular coffee shop / cocktail bar in Portsmith. It was the perfect cozy haven on a rainy Sunday. I’m intrigued by the Mug Club. Great drink menu but would pass on the food (the whole menu wasn’t available either).

This is a really nice cafe and bar. It's very casual and relaxing, with a comforting atmosphere. The espresso and hot apple cider were very tasty.

Delicious latte, fantastic environment to sit down and get some work done or meet up with friends. Quiet enough to concentrate and just noisy enough to be connected to reality. The wifi was perfect and the bathrooms were spacious and clean. Friendly staff, friendly vibe. If I lived in Portsmouth, I would practically live at Cup of Joe's.
