Tamarack Restaurant

Today was my first visit to the Tamarack! We were next door bowling, and hungry. We ordered a half pint of clam strips, and an order of french fries. The tartar sauce was great, the clam strips super yummy and the fries were good! The staff was so friendly, and we enjoyed our food at the picnic tables.
We will definitely be back! My kiddo and I love seafood.

Exceeded my expectations. Got a sampler basket and everything in it was great. The batter was thin so you got the full flavor of the seafood. Perfect for sharing

Wonderful little roadside stand that serves really good seafood. Staff are friendly and cheerful. They're picnic tables for eating outside or you can sit in your car and there's a little dining room separate in the back. Nothing fancy but there is a bathroom.

They were about to close and made us great lobster rolls! The lobster was piled up high and was delicious. The owners are the sweetest and really went out of their way for us. We will be customers for life. The best!!

Hot lobster roll basket for 24$….the bun was toasted but the lobster was COLD, confused how that’s a “hot” lobster roll. Even the melted butter turned solid on contact with the cold meat

Stopped by for my first lobster roll of the '22 season. The roll itself was perfectly buttered and toasted while the amount of lobster to roll portion was great for the price. Would love to stop again to try more options!

We made a second visit for lunch, it was so good! I got the scallop roll and loved it. Can't beat the friendly service or their funny signs!

First time here and the seafood was delish ! Sat out on the picnic table and enjoyed the atmosphere.

The best seafood & onion rings. Got the french fries & burger (seafood allergy), delicious!! And they have wonderful sense of humor 😁 Has been around a long time & it shows!

August 2021 Update: Disappointed in my first visit back to Tamarack this year. I ordered a Lobster Roll Basket...they took the order and incorrectly so I didn't get any fries, but wasn't charged for them either. I went up to the window to let them know, and was told I'd have to pay the dollar difference to make it a basket - OK. So I got the dollar, but then I was told I would have to get back in line! After already waiting 20 minutes for my order, they expected me too get back in a line, and wait probably another 30 minutes to get what I originally ordered. Terrible customer service. To add insult to injury, the lobster roll looks significantly smaller than in the past too, and my sister had a little bit of shell in hers. I saved up to go three times this week, but I think I'll save my money. A lifetime customer lost.

2020: My FAVORITE place to eat when I'm at the lake. My family and I went THREE times during our week there! I can't get enough of their lobster roll - it's delicious!!!
