I always stop here on the way home from the mountains or from mountain biking. Really tasty sandwiches, good coffee and the people working there are wonderful.

Wandered into this place on my way to Dunkin and am I glad I did, the coffee and breakfast sandwich were so delicious and fresh. We even grabbed a few beautiful books for my daughter to read while we ate on the patio! It was so good we stopped back in for lunch the following day and it did not disappoint again!! Staff is super nice as well!

Best Breakfast Sandwich in the State?
Superb little coffee shop, breakfast & lunch, bookstore place in the heart of the White Mountains. It's a climbers themed type place run by women. I have to say the egg and cheese(cheddar) everything bagel breakfast sandwich($4) gets my vote for best breakfast sandwich in the state. Bagels, for me, are a gamble, like chili, and I usually don't order them. Often they're tough like hockey pucks. The bagel here is tasty, fresh, soft, filling - off the charts. The sandwich is consistently superb. I had a soup one day for lunch that was great, but the real surprise was the grilled piece of flatbread that came with it - of the charts again. The bookstore section has a wide variety of books and periodicals about the White Mountains and other local history - tremendous resource. Overall, a great little locally owned goldmine.

The White Mountain Cafe is one of my favorite places to meet my friends and clients. The owners are great people and have great kids. The food is always fresh and delicious so is the coffee. the atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable. I will definitely be back.

On our way to a hike on Mount Washington, we stopped for coffee, breakfast, and some sandwiches for the summit.

The latte was well made. The breakfast burrito was huge and delicious and I shared half of it and I was still full. Our lunch sandwiches were equally large and nutritious.

I will probably pass by again in my way back home.

I wouldn't consider myself a regular, but I stop in the White Mountain Cafe a few times a year when I'm back home. The last time I visited, I found myself suspected of shoplifting and was followed around the café. And no, I wasn't shoplifting.

Way better breakfast than the McD’s next door! And nice staff too.

Great mocha and nice atmosphere to speak with people doing hikes in the white mountains.

The quiche, coffee, and cinnamon buns wer delicious. Very filling, especially if you plan to hike or be active throughout the day. There is a good selection of food: pastries, eggs, sandwiches, soups. Reasonably priced. I loved their iced teas...so many flavor combinations.

Ditto on how good the breakfast sandwiches are, plus good coffee, very friendly staff, quick order turnaround. I especially wanted to thank them for being so conscious about Covid safety for their staff and guests, which was shockingly bad in the other two restaurants I've visited so far in Gorham.
