This is a nice little coffee shop with all the choices you'd expect. Tea and other beverages too. A number of pastries were on display and their are sandwich options. The service was friendly and prompt, and they sent us out with pleasant good-byes. The bookstore is small but welcoming with tables scattered around, very nice.

We were here for the wknd to go riding and came here both mornings for breakfast. We stayed right down the road and walked here to grab a quick bite before we hit the mountain. There is on-site parking if you drive here in your car or ATV. They have outdoor tables you can sit down at in the back by the water or tables right in front that are first come first serve. I ordered the Cliffhanger on a Asiago bagel with a Beetroot & Berry smoothie that was delicious and a blueberry muffin for the ride home. After you place your order at the counter you can check out the selection of books and gifts while you wait. On the wknds your order may take 10-15mins as it gets very busy here but it's worth the wait. We will definitely come back in the Fall.

Top notch place for a post hike bite. Got a burrito bagel sammich with some veggie sausage and it was monster and delicious. Good baked-goods selection as well. Had to go back for a muffin.
I noticed a lot of veggie/vegan options too.

I've only been here twice, but I love the hiker atmosphere. They have a nice selection of books about hiking the White Mountains and a very friendly staff.

We stopped in for a sandwich to go. It was amazing! It had great flavor and the ingredients seemed fresh. We would recommend this place for a lunch/ breakfast location. They had some great coffee options as well. You can also get coffee beans to go.

This is a simple place with a pretty varied menu. You check out the menu on the wall behind the staff, who seem to be busy all the time. They call your name when it's ready. Tables and chairs are pretty basic. We went for breakfast.
They have everything from breakfast sandwiches, in any combination, quiche, biscotti, and pastries. Coffee is to die for.
My husband got sausage cheese and egg on an English muffin. I had broccoli and cheese quiche and an apple Danish.
The quiche was a much bigger piece than I expected. The filling was fluffy but firm with plenty of broccoli and cheese. Tasty crust.
The Danish was light and fluffy.
My husband said he sandwich was good.

Great little place that’s half bookstore half coffee shop. Just driving through and saw this place and thought we’d give it a shot. I got a wildcat on an everything bagel. Cozy atmosphere and quick service.

Best coffee and espresso anywhere in the North Country. Homemade baked goods are so yummy. They are crazy busy sometimes but the staff is amazing! Browse for books while you wait, then enjoy your coffee by the river.
