Food is good, waitstaff nice, but here's some distinct issues:

On my first visit I ordered a side of country fried steak with my order. My 3rd visit, I asked to order the same side, bit was told they wouldn't sell it as such. They finally caved in and sold it, but only after they went to the kitchen to see it possible. Lack of consistency and unwillingness to accommodate order: both areunacceptable.

Furthermore, I have never heard of a diner that does not serve its entire menu for the entire day. To add onto this sad anomaly of the business, information stating time of lunch item availability is posted absolutely nowhere, neither on a sign or on a menu.

I usually don't pay heed to rumors, but I find believable the one about the owner being quite the especial touch hole. Might explain why the place is so hard up for help even when the pandemic has wrecked the job market.

Good service. Not the best eggs and home-fries I had, but pretty good in town. Cozy / homely environment. Recommend 👍

Had a very good steak and egg breakfast. Home made cinnamon raisin bread and very good hash browns. Steak was a little tough but tasted good. Long wait for service and food though. But staff was very friendly. Don't go if you are in a hurry. We were not in a rush so it was ok for us.

Looks like the other restaurants are threatened by this place and leaving shill reviews. My lady and I love this place. Great food, great service (always smiling and friendly). We've eaten there a few times and even got served with a smile when it was close to closing. The chicken fried steak was great and my eggs were cooked perfect. The portions are large so bring your appetite!

Wicked good food, and nice people to boot!

We enjoyed our first visit there for breakfast. Food was good and so was the service. Can be very busy with a lengthy wait depending on time of day.

I've had breakfast and lunch there and their onion rings are to die for. Light, sweet and fresh along with a good healthy portion. No complaints there. I had the Buffalo chicken wrap with the onion rings. Not as spicy as I like them but a very good sandwich.

Crystal was great as a waitress, if you go in I definitely recommend asking for her and only her, other waitresses are clumsy, rude, or just seem to plain not care about their jobs what so ever. One waitress was very dis respectful and another was caught picking her underwear on her way back to the kitchen. The woman seating people acted disgusted and made a verbal grunting sound of dis approval when I asked her for crayons for my girlfriend. The food was very good for a resonable price and portion and came out in a reasonable time. Clean and good food, compliments to the chef. Would give it 5 stars if they would hire more than just one competent waitress and a respectful cashier.

Food is good. Waitstaff are friendly. Would be 5 star but charging $1.99 extra for gravy on fries is outrageous. I ordered a Hamburg steak. It comes with gravy on the steak, but when I asked to have some gravy on the fries too, they never told me it would be extra, but they added $1.99 to the bill. Really?? For a tablespoon of gravy?

Food was good. Waitress was in a hurry and not friendly

Second time I went the service was extremely slow.

Third time they stopped us grom coming in before they closed.

They charge you an additional fee for credit cards.
