it was terrible the food was cold the French toast was just warm to bread the waitress was not attentive I never go back there again

Great breakfast, ample portions, reasonable prices and most of all friendly staff. Will definitely eat there again...

Food was very good as was the service. I thought it was very expensive for breakfast, and then they add on a fee if you don't pay with cash. To me almost $40. for breakfast in a diner is way too much.

The food was so good. Plus huge servings. Come with a appetite. You will not be disappointed.

Normally the food is good, the service is good. However the past 2 times I've visited with my partner we've gotten stuck with an older woman as a server.

She seems as though she isn't to enthused to have us as customer's, she'll frequently stop at her other table's to ask how thing's are or refill their drinks.

However when it comes to us she's not enthused, just this morning she slammed the menu on the table playing it off like she dropped it when I watched the whole thing. I don't like being a Debbie downer, but it would be greatly appreciated if she could just treat us like other customer's, and smile instead of looking upset all of the time when she comes to our table.

I walked in after 10am on a Sunday. There were multiple groups of people sitting, standing, and standing outside. The hostess offered me to sit at the counter. Everyone at the counter accommodated me, I got coffee (no Splenda, kind of a bummer) and I had my food within 10 minutes of placing my order. The Claremont Country Cafe proves over and over again why it's the go-to destination for breakfast/lunch in city. Give it a try, you won't leave disappointed or hungry.

Went there today with family members.
Every thing was ok except for the french fries.
It's like they cooked them and then they sat around and then they cooked them again. I didn't like them they were very over cooked. My granddaughter said the same.
But all in all the service was good. The waitress was nice. Even though I had ask for a side and I asked her for ir when she brought the meal. Then she came back to ask if everything was alright. I asked for my side once again .
If it weren't for the fries I would of given them 4 stars maybe. It's no place I care to go back to.

The food was really yummy, they need more servers and help there. It took us 20 minutes to get our drink order taken, another 15 minutes to get our drinks(2 waters, a hot cocoa and a coffee) the prices were reasonable, our waitress was so friendly even though customers were mean and taking the wait time out on her ... they were so so busy. Our meal was served an hour later. Thankfully we had a deck of cards to pass the time.

Old time dinner. Not fast food . Good service.

Great service, and place is very clean. Food ok. Biscuits n gravy need a new recipe. Too doughy and odd spice taste to it. Great cappuccino and average egg breakfast. They have great wait staff.
