The Purple Pit Coffee Lounge

In total agreement with the other favorable reviews here - great coffee, espresso drinks (mocha nut 👍🏻) and usually find myself always leaving with at least a triple berry muffin and/or breakfast sandwich every weekend we come up during the summer! Would strongly recommend to others.

What a surprise this place was. Coffee is what you THINK you're getting when you look at it from the outside. Step in and be prepared to be impressed. Amazing sandwiches (I had their home made rosemary chicken salad on a croissant-wow!), ice cream Sunday bar, beer and wine service, but then stroll a little further back into the place and you step into what I woould describe as a NY style basement type jazz bar. Comfy couches, small intimate tables and a troupe of musicians transporting you to St. Louis or New Orleans where jazz is king. Terrific little gem in downtown Bristol.

Great jazz w food - drinks - coffee and desserts. The music entertainment is selected for its quality. One of three wonderful music venues that have emerged in Bristol over the past few years. The owners are a music family and occasionally perform as well!

Great food with personal service.

Have stopped here a few times, either when ice climbing at Newfound Lake or running the NH half marathon. Nice folks and great coffee. They make really good sandwiches too.

The Purple Pit is a diamond in the rough right here in NH. A sweet spot, great music, good food and wonderful people! Check it out sometime. They also have great coffee and ice cream too.

Sandwiches, bagels, pastries and decent coffee. Great stop on your way to a hike.

This is a nice cozy place to get coffee and some pastries. They also have great ice cream in the summertime. You may discover some leftover ice cream as you approach Christmas time. I was able to get some coffee ice cream as late as Thanksgiving.
