Kids needed to use the restroom and they only allow customers to use the restroom, so we bought 4 tacos. Kids and wife got chicken tacos, I got the barbacoa. Chicken was good, nothing to write home about, but that barbacoa was spot on. Having eaten a lot of Mexican cuisine over the years in Nevada, these guys have some of the best barbacoa in the entire state. If you want to try some of the worst, go to Rosie's in Smith Valley.

What a delightful surprise to encounter this delicious eatery along our full day of road-tripping! The staff were friendly, and the food was fresh, flavorful, and authentic. We got the barbacoa burrito, al pastor quesadilla, and pineapple shake - all of which made for a tasty lunch :)

I got a medium rare grilled onion burger with jalapeños and bacon. It was delicious!! I'm definitely stopping here again next time I'm passing by. 😁

Me and my dad stopped at this place back in 2015 when we were road-tripping in the West Coast. I don’t remember what we had exactly, but to this day I can say that I’ve never had a better burger than here. It’s 2021 and I’m still not over it. Thinking about going to Nevada just to eat there again lol. Amazing!!!

First time here. First, the burger was fantastic! The patty was very thick, juicy and cooked well (not well done). It was topped with fresh lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, mayo, mustard, ketchup. The bun was toasted to crunchy perfection. I also ordered a chocolate shake. I couldn't tell if it was real ice-cream. You best be patient - I was the first to order and it took 30+ minutes to for it to be ready.

This place is absolutely amazing. The food is delicious every time we get it and my order has never been messed up. I highly recommend stopping and trying it for anyone who is passing through our looking for some good food.

This place serves surprisingly great food! The asada fries are the best I've seen, the burrito and tacos were far better than anyone would suspect stopping at a roadside food booth in Mina. Recommended.

It is no longer called "Socorro's" now it is called "La Casita".
The first thing that I noticed was that the prices are really good.
Then I tried their philly cheese steak. I was floored. It was the best Philly cheese steak that I have ever had and that is no joke or exaggeration.
They also had the best chocolate shake.
I have been around a bit and it is very hard to impress me. I can honestly say that I was very much impressed. I still can't get over that cheese steak.

Found this place traveling up to Reno. Decent road side burger stand. Not the best burger I've ever had, but fresh veggies and toasty bun made it very good. Meat is maybe a bit under seasoned for my taste. Had the bacon cheeseburger with grilled onions with a side of onion rings and a strawberry shake. O-rings were standard, but the shake was very good. Pricing was a bit on the high side, but I found the timing appropriate. Staff was friendly. Wish I could give a 3.5, but I went low because I probably wouldn't frequent this place due to the price and the shortcomings I mentioned above.
