La Casita

When this was S'socorro's Burger Hit I commented that it was the best hamburger within 60 miles.." Now that it's La Casita, it might be the best hamburger within 70 or 80 miles. Our first visit since ownership changed, we trundled in late in the afternoon after the lunch rush. Hot, crisp fries, nice burger with fresh lettuce, lots of nice bacon, not afraid to put some nice raw onions on there, pickles, in all, a nicely crafted hamburger, and far more than one might expect in Mina. WIll definitely try some of the Mexican offerings next time we're there.

This place is a well in the middle of the desert. The food definitely didn't disappoint!

So we travel from Pahrump to Reno and already aware that you need to keep your fuel tank full because you may not see a gas station for 100 miles. Past through Goldfield and it is definitely a place of interest. A real ghost town and ghost dont need fuel. In the middle of nowhere we find this burger joint. No gas, just burgers. We had to stop. If you take this route you must stop in. The burgers were excellent and we enjoyed the stop. The owner was amazing with an amazing story. Good hunting!

We had one of each of the tacos and the Carne asada burrito. They were so fresh and flavourful! The hot sauce was also well balanced. I would buy it if the owner bottled it. It's really the very best option for miles around 👏👏👏

I had tacos (one of each kind) and a strawberry milkshake. It was all perfect. I would be surprised if anything here wasn't delicious. He also filled up a water jug for me for my dog. I appreciated that as there doesn't seem to be anywhere within 20 miles to buy a jug of water. I'll be back here.

This breakfast burrito has me in my truck like Dora the explorer with her “mucho delicioso”
There’s also a big parking lot across the street for trucks!

Owner was very friendly and he made us veggie burgers! They were so delicious.
Also, we had fries ( the big thick ones) and a delicious strawberry shake.
Highly recommend this side of the highway joint.

Super friendly people. Family run small business. Definitely worth the stop. Large gravel lot across the street for truck parking.
