I originally stopped in (Fall-time) because I was craving a chai latte and it was a convenient location. First thing I noticed was that there were plants everywhere! That aesthetic felt home-y and comfortable. I now swing by 1-4 times a week and have yet to see one of the staff in a less than cheerful mood. They are ALL friendly and welcoming. And they play around with latte art when I get my drink in a mug. I get whole milk in my lattes, but I noticed they also offer almond and oat (and maybe one other) as options if anyone is wondering. I have yet to try any of the food. There is even outdoor seating available on the north and west sides. The restrooms are single-use, with the only designation being "please wash your hands."

Traveling from out of state and stopped by for some coffee. The coffee was pretty good, but doesn't have a strong enough coffee flavor: 4 stars.
No napkins available to customers without asking an employee: -0.5
Ordered a coffee flight, which was a really cool menu item: +1.5
Coffee flight came on a board with no handles and the drinks are just too easy to spill when picking up the heavy board, which of course I did: -1
For $23, I would have assumed they would have offered to remake the one drink that did spill just to show good customer service, but that didn't happen: -1
Owner reads reviews and actively tries to make things right with the customer: +1
I would probably return again, but not for the coffee flight since it is too easy to spill.

My go to coffee shop when I’m in the area! It’s a bit of drive since I live in Elkhorn, crossing my fingers for one her soon 🤞. My favorite is the Belgian waffle, they always have a smile on their faces when I come in, and it’s such a cozy, quaint atmosphere. An Instagram worthy shop that’s not downtown.

I am addicted to the coffees here. Their seasonal menus are great, their regular bees knees and honey bee latte are great. Toasts are phenomal. Easy recommend.

This is one of my favorite coffee spots in town!! I am obsessed with the coffee and toast flight concept, as I haven't seen this before. The everything avacado and blueberry goat cheese toast never let's me down. Furthermore, everyone is super friendly and accommodating. Highly suggest hitting this spot up if you are in the area.

Lovely iced banana bread coffee and monster cookie. Loved the atmosphere, but had to get a move on. Hopefully in the future I can sit and relax.

Very cute place! We ordered a coffee flight ahead of time with many interesting flavors. Not all of them were our favorite, but it was fun to try. The toast and desserts are very good as well. My only complaint is that the food and coffee is a bit pricey. But overall, I would recommend going!

As a regular of the other stores, the 2 workers last night at the drive through had the best customer service I’ve seen at Zen. The girl was super kind, asking how our night was, and then the boy was super kind when giving out orders, saying have a good night and everything tasted DELICIOUS! I will be returning, and I really felt welcome and they seemed like they really enjoyed their job. 👍👍👍

I visited Zen West a few Saturdays ago, and although the tea left a great taste in my mouth, the experience did not. I’m giving this three stars because the hibiscus pineapple tea was excellent.
The woman behind the register was rude and standoffish. Perhaps the fact that it was a Saturday morning and busy had something to do with it. I work in customer service, and I am acutely aware that even someone having a bad day can put on a smile and at least try to be polite.
I ordered the tea, and the prices were NOT clear at all. The posted prices on the board are the BASE RATE for hot water, and then depending on which tea bag you would like, there is an additional charge. I asked the woman behind the register to clarify this, and she just pointed to a laminated sheet on the counter that had varying numbers of dollar signs next to each tea and gave me a curt response.
Finally, the bathrooms were filthy. Again, maybe Saturday mornings mean more foot traffic, but for being an upscale coffee shop, I was surprised.
Maybe I just came on the wrong day?
