Terrible customer service they forgot abt our order. And then fought my mom on it how they didn't have our order and then they took someone else's order and were like so we make this one? So honestly terrible customer service. And it was gross we got the smoothies and my cousin and I did not feel good after that. So I do not recommend The espresso 😐.

Well worth the short detour off I-80. Easy parking. The coffee was well roasted and the food fantastic. Service was kind and prompt. Nice space and good Wifi. Really impressed- Will definitely plan to stop in our next time through!

Brandon, the owner, was very nice. He chatted with us and gave us some good suggestions for our road trip. Food is great and staff super nice. Pet friendly!

Fun delicious stop and worth the extra effort to get away from I-80 and take a break. Best coffee of our day so far and nice variety on the lunch menu. Thanks Al & Marie's family!

This place was a great stop to start my day just before my long drive. The atmosphere was very enjoyable. As a stranger I was helped by who, I believe was the owner. Very nice guy, spoke to me about his wall of decks(skateboard) and he still rides them too. He helped me pick my food and it was called the bockus, very tasty. They have a good selection of items to go along with your cup of joe. Very rustic interior, the jazz music helped me relax and enjoy my meal. The place has plenty of space and they have live music at times.

Great little coffee shop in the main part of North Platte. The drinks and sandwich did take slightly longer than I expected but everything was worth the wait. Turkey panini is extremely cheesy and the cappuccino was fantastic.

Loved the geriatric vibe! Old people need caffeine too. It was open mic night and everyone sang along with the opener. We were obviously not locals and the old folks checked us out thoroughly, though the younger waiting staff treated us like the rest of the patrons. Espresso was good but coffee a bit cold and weak. We got there at about 7 pm, however, and we appeared to be the only coffee drinkers. Will return for our next road trip.

Experienced barista. She knew what we would like even though we never tried it before. And we have a lot of food allergies and intolerances so she didn't have a lot of latitude to work with. I would highly recommend this place, and will definitely go back.

Great spot! Great tasting breakfast sandwich. Owner is so personable. Super friendly & socially mature. Connected with him from the get go. We weren’t going to go in because from the outside it did’t look good, but once we opened the door we were greeted with a sense of community! He told us their whole downtown is getting a face lift & construction & facade improvements are yet to be done.

We walked there from another unique privately owned motel. The Huskies Inn. Walk was icy but we managed. Town could do Better enforcing snow & ice maintenance. I slipped & fell, so ice needs attention in the area, not necessarily at this shop.

The Espresso has the makings of an anchor shop for the downtown & community. Keep doing what your doing & stay safe & healthy with CoVid still out there.
