Hiway Cafe

Located in Lyons, NE stopped in on a rainy day looking for a deep fat fried tenderloin. Mmmm, and found a piece of pie too. Friendly, polite, delicious food and one employee was the Welcome Wagon. She gave me a postcard, newspaper, and information of what was happening in town.

My husband loves this place but it's kinda "eh" to me food is rather bland and boring. The waitress is super nice and does a great job but they should hire a new cook

The food was very good. The restaurant was really clean. I had the chicken fried steak and it wasn't just some frozen Pattie. Real food. Free wifi. Not sure of the hours but they were open till 8pm Friday.

most of the time this Cafe is closed...always closed on weekends...even with flea market vendors in their parking lot, the cafe was closed🤷‍♀️

I like going here. They love seeing my Service Dog. She has her little quilt she lays on even we are here
They welcome us with open arms. Also the food is cooked fresh. And the prices are great. It has a very friendly atmosphere.

Food is excellent, great waitresses, you get great amount of food to eat and delicious pies. Worth the stop.

I never deviate on what I order because you can't beat perfection The hot roast beef with mashed potatoes and gravy is pure heaven.

I come here often. The coffee is always good. The food is delicious. Service is great. This Cafe has served Lyon's and many surrounding communities for decades. It's wonderful to have a restaurant like this in our area.
