The Mill is a locally owned coffee shop with several locations around Lincoln. The College View location is my personal favorite. I don't enjoy coffee (I know it's weird), but you can also get a selection of teas, steamers, scones and muffins (from local bakeries), as well as wraps and other grab-and-go fare. The Mill is the perfect anchor for the other small businesses on Prescott, and a great place for a rest after visiting the Sunday farmer's market. If it's crowded and the weather cooperates, I like to take my tea and muffin to go and enjoy them on the park-like campus of Union College just across 48th Street. About two blocks the other direction is a city park with picnic tables and a shelter which is also a great option for a relaxing afternoon.

Cool coffee shop that feels cozy. Great place to study. My favorite drink is a lavender granita, but a plain mug of brewed coffee is great, too, when I want a cheaper option. And there is a free refill on it.

It's popular with locals to hang out at, the environment is usually pretty nice, the staff is friendly, and the coffee itself is pretty good. I just don't get my coffee beans here anymore though because I'm able to go to a place that roasts their beans in house, and I can get them roasted same day so I believe it beats out the quality and freshness in that sense. Otherwise though they've got tasty mochas.

Super good espresso and a nice spicy chai. It had really good flavor and was not extra sugary. Staff is super-rad and it's cool that they have some vegan options. <3
