Wow! Simply Wow! I wish they had one of these is my neighborhood. What a great vibe. The staff is friendly and vibrant, and extremely helpful. The coffee (I had a cappuccino) was perfect. The egg and cheese croissant was addicting from the first bite. They were amazing. The pastry (I had a cinnamon roll) took me back to my grandmother’s house as a child. It was sublime. Run, don’t walk, to The Coffee House.

Excellent, delicious, fun food! The Chaider was a great idea! Lots of coffee options. Perfect for a cold, winter day looking at the University a couple blocks away.

Coffeeeeee
What?
I got the latte with oat milk. So much better than the hotel coffee! I love that they have alternative milk options. I love that there are also a lot of vegan food options. I was able to get a vegan GF brownie which was good. A relatively big slice as well. (check in and get a free dessert!). The other items on the menu look good as well, but I came here 2 times and both times it was after lunch..
Environment
Decently sized place with a lot of seating available inside. Walk in and smell the coffee. Quite enough you can work inside for a bit, didn't take note if there were charging outlets for you to work there forever.. (8 hours...).
Niceness of the staff
Super friendly staff. Patient as I look over the menu and answered any questions that I had.
Dollar
It was very reasonably priced for good coffee.
Yes
I would definitely if I am in Lincoln again.

To the Asian young loads who had an attitude about me ordering the lemonade and still getting my coffee wrong thank you! I’m in town for work and this place was recommended… I will for sure tell future groups that stop in town not to go here if you are just gonna be rude and talk about people because of drink choices…

Make sure to grab a scone and chat with the friendliest barista - Victor! This place is a hidden gem in Lincoln, and I’m so happy I found it. You feel welcome the second you walk in the door.

If you only get one thing - get the cromlette. It was the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to go back again.

Cozy coffee shop in downtown Lincoln. I've stopped in here a few times for a cappuccino and the service is always friendly and quick. There's a surprising amount of seating inside that's all well spaced out. They have a variety of pastries (very good!), wraps, salads, and yogurt parfaits available and they also sell coffee accessories and supplies to brew your own at home. I'll keep stopping in whenever I make it downtown!

Spent the night in Lincoln & tried a random coffee spot. Best egg & cheese croissant and best coffee I’ve ever had in my life. Wish Omaha had something this good! Glad we found it.

Excellent strong espresso with fresh notes. Best espresso since leaving home a few days ago. This place has everything you need and expect from a great coffee shop. Ambience, quality drinks, and great salty or sweet food. Look at the pictures.

I haven’t been to The Coffee House in a while (about a year!) and decided to stop by on my way to work. My favorite drink from there is the Irish Mocha. It is the most delicious coffee concoction I have ever tasted and The Coffee House is the only coffee shop I have ever been to that has something like this. Therefore, I was very excited to revisit and order my favorite drink. To my disappointment the “Irish Mocha” that I ordered did not taste like the Irish Mocha that I have had several times before. It did not have whipped cream that came with it before, and the drink tasted like burnt black coffee that they poured milk on top and was heated up. It left an undesirable aftertaste and I just dump the drink down the drain. Either the barista was not attentive to my order and was half asleep, or they completely changed the recipe for the Irish Mocha. I don’t know if I will be coming here to avoid this happening again and to pay for it. (Pro tip: The drink menu inside do not have prices written right next to the drinks. So you don’t know how much the drinks cost unless you ask or just wait until they ring you up.)
