The Chocolate Season • Chocolaterie & Coffee Shop

I was excited to visit as Lincoln has been sorely lacking in chocolate shops. It has more than just chocolate. I had a sweet potato cauliflower soup and a coffee. Both were delicious. You can tell everything is made from scratch with love and is super fresh. Such a nice change from all the pre-packaged food from chain restaurants. I tried 4 different truffles and a Tuttle (like a turtle). All were super yummy. The caramel in the tuttle was soft and fresh. I also bought toffee which will take me awhile to make my way through! The space is really big, warm and inviting. It looks like a great place to sit and relax and have coffee and treats. I wish it was closer to me! But I will make the short drive to try more truffle flavors. Oh and the staff was lovely and welcoming. :)

Great tastes and super service. Tried a flight of drinks and a coffee cake and wasn’t disappointed with any of it. Good environment with indoor and outdoor seating. Staff were helpful and courteous. I went because of a gift card, but I would definitely go back. Looks like they also have a food truck.

The Chocolate Season is a must visit in Lincoln! Not only do they make the best chocolate, but their coffee, treats, & other drinks are all amazing! I highly recommend going on a Saturday or Sunday morning for specialty waffles. Erika & her staff are extremely helpful, & work to ensure a perfect experience. If you need gifts, come here for an assortment of chocolates or a gift card!

Adorable little store with beautiful artisan chocolates. A delicious variety would definitely recommend if you have a little money to splurge. Service was fast and the employees are extremely friendly. Has a great selection of coffees and baked goods as well.

I got a berry almond waffle, the berry compote was delicious and the outside of the waffle was crispy and soft on the inside. I also got a cafe au lait and it was watery, not a lot of coffee flavor. I had tried the hot chocolate and it was delicious. If you go here, stick with chocolate menu items since that is what they specialize in! I loved the atmosphere and it seems to always be busy.

I'm afraid this place is more than a bit disappointing, at least the day I was there. So many great reviews I feel like the teenagers making things on Saturday morning may be more of what caused my problem. I had the poutine waffle and I'm not going to dance around the subject, it was awful.
Cold, tasteless, chunky gravy, cold cheese curds, topped with cold soggy tater tots. Probably one of the top 5 worst breakfast concoctions in my life. My kids got waffles as well, just the plain ones, they complained of them being cold and soggy as well. Maybe our order sat around but the lumps of gravy on my waffle showed me they weren't properly made to begin with. I hate making bad reviews for local businesses but this one truly earned a bad mark.

I follow The Chocolate Season on Instagram & I've had my eye on their Carmel Apple Waffle for some time. Finally got my chance on Sunday morning. It's like having apple pie for breakfast! So delicious!! It's LOADED with crisp apple pieces. I ordered carry out & the best part was the melted hot carmel sauce and frozen ice cream were in separate containers for me to add on top myself when I got home. NO soggy waffle!! Great service. Great price. Great breakfast!

They were very personable, the drinks were really good, and great quality muffins. I had a great first experience!

The Chocolate Season is the best for so many reasons! Waffle Weekends are so fun to go to, and try all the different flavors. The chocolate is amazing, and not like anything else you will ever have. And the coffee....chef's kiss - wow. Highly recommend going to The Chocolate Season!

Bradley and Erika have been such a joy and pleasure to work with and have at our most recent campus event. I've greatly appreciated their clear and prompt communication in accommodating to our event's needs. As always, their coffee truck was a big hit! They serve absolutely delicious drinks and sweet treats! I'll be looking forward to working with them again.
