Cultiva Downtown

Ok I am not a mean lady so I am giving 3 stars, but I did not have a fun experience. I probably should have mentioned explicitly that I am a vegan instead of just trying to order vegan. Regardless, I was pretty put off to find one or two little pieces of bacon in the "create a meal" that I ordered. Also, the food was very, very greasy. On a positive note, the place has a really cozy aesthetic and nice coffee, and my mom really enjoyed her crepe (tho she is not vegan). I dunno, I just figured that such a hip place would be more accomodating, especially with a name like "Cultiva" which makes me think of, like, a bountiful harvest of multicolored vegetables.

Best coffee in Lincoln. Service is somewhere between good and great. Only negatives are slower service during peak hours (which is somewhat expected, but still frustrating) and price. But if you want great coffee in Lincoln, it's the place to go.

Cultiva is, hands down, the best cup of coffee in Lincoln and from my experience, the best coffee in Nebraska. This is the original location. They have taken out the coffee roaster and moved it to another location. That has opened up more room for seating.

Favorites: The Coffee, Mochas, Johnny Cakes (two pancakes split by ham, cheese, and eggs) and The Crepe's

Been twice, no doubt the coffee is very good, two things irked: underdone vegetables in the crepes, which weren't particularly flavorful, and the attitude of the place - hipstersish and decidedly ageist. Listen people, you may be twenty now but you'll be sixty faster than you know it. Be welcoming to a diverse clientele for Pete's sake. It's not my fault I got old. Hope that the new location opposite UNL's east campus has a warmer and more welcoming vibe.

Just brought the family there for breakfast for the first time. Ordered the Monte and a Barcelona. Incredible food and coffee. The Barcelona is probably the best coffee drink that I have ever had, and the Monte is just great cooking. I'll be back for sure.

I've only had their espresso but it was amazing. I've herd they have really good food as well. If anyone is looking for some awesome espresso and a place just to sit down to do home work I highly recommend Cultiva.

Coffee was good, Danish was yummy, and the cornbread flack Jack's were fresh! The baristas didn't smile at me though, maybe their too cool? Also the music was hella odd like robot sounds for Halloween....

Best coffee in Lincoln. The breakfast is a family favorite as well. Thank you for starting this business. It is a real Lincoln gem!

They have the best coffee in town. I go there once a week for a coffee and crepes. They play great music on the radio, the atmosphere is wonderful, and it's an all around great place for a coffee date.

Good food! Try "The Grinch" and a Mocha...Or for iced coffee, "The Barcelona" is the way to go! I'm shocked this place doesn't come up first. I used to go to The Mill years ago... Cultiva is my new religion and all it takes is one bad review from some simple minded schmuck to bring this place down the list. It's FIVE stars....Just for the record....
