Excellent choices on donuts and other sweets. Beverage choices are good as well. Big fan of their large size of their bearclaws/honeybuns/fritters. Biggest knockback to me was their danishes (apple/blueberry/cherry flavored) are usually quite dry. However this could be just my own taste buds being wonky. Despite all this the gering bakery does not carry nutritional information on any of its products as it is "too costly to send them in to find out" so calorie counters beware.

This bakery is a local landmark for the best doughnuts. They also made cabbage burgers but since the COVID virus, I don't know if they still make them. But, I know what they do still make is delish. The only doughnut I can compare to The Round Rock doughnuts in Round Rock, Texas. Melt in your mouth yummy!!!

Rather expensive for simple donuts. Bluffs bakery is much better and offers a larger variety. Donuts were also a little hard, both on the dough and the frosting. Cookies had an overabundance of frosting which was ridiculous and not the best tasting might I add. It really has gone down in the past few years ):

I went there to get cookies for my niece and nephew and they had these cute franistines and the children loved them they were so excited to see their tongues black from the frosting. The cookies tasted good too!

Stopped in for coffee and donuts. Delicious donuts I tell ya. This place had been around "forever" and it never disappoints. We come in from CO a couple times a year and it's a must in the morning.

Very, very disappointing! First, there were flies in the showcase. Second, the employees in the front didn't even know the price of anything and third, I ordered a cake for a very special occasion but what i got was a very dry, ugly, simple cake. It didn't have any of the colors i asked for, and the only color it did have was so ugly no one wanted to eat it. I DO NOT recommend this place at all!

This bakery deserves 10 stars. Thy e made the most awesome cupcakes for a birthday. The were absolutely gorgeous and way beyond my expectations. Thank- you so much. You are over the top.

I love this bakery! I worked here from 1988 to 1993 with my family. My family is still running it to today; my dad, Ron Ahlers; brother, Chris Ahlers; and his wife Jenn Ahlers.

There isn't many made fresh scratch bakeries left. It's a full line bakery and they can make anything, if you don't see it ask them.

My favorites are the chocolate long johns and the cabbage burgers.

Well if you're just getting donuts, they are the best in the valley, but be warned if you get a cake for a birthday it is either hit or miss, my wife got me a cake for my birthday and the butter cream icing was tartly sweet, too thick on the top but nice and thin on the sides how I like it, otherwise the cake itself had good taste, we ordered a wedding cake from here 3 years ago and it was not only very pretty but also was Delicious and the butter cream icing was great too but when it came to my birthday cake the icing was just bitterly sweet and just too thick at the top, although I highly recommend their donuts!
