Breakfast is decent, the rest of the menu has always been mediocre. We ate here recently and will never be back. Service was absolutely horrible, servers were rude, never checked on us to see if we needed anything, if our food was ok, or got us refills.

I've eaten here twice. First time I had the special. Country fried steak, mashed potatoes/gravy it was the best I've ever eaten! The past time I had a Swiss & Mushroom Burger with Sweet Potato Fries (what I order to test if I really like a place). The sweet potato fries were cooked to perfection! I also got two orders of Corn Nuggets, they were absolutely cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. The burger on the other hand had a slice of cheese that wasn't melted & it was very greasy. My sister got a steak that she ordered medium rare and it came nearly done. The cook cut the steak across the top 3 times vertically & horizontally. It was dry and very tough. The service was good but not great both times. I had to ask a few times for a drink refill, waitresses were standing around talking to each other. Definitely needs approvement. Staff & a different cook. Take pride in how you present your food before it leaves your kitchen! The elderly lady that cashed us out was very polite & they had her bussing tables. She needs to be a waitress or cashier. Let the young ones bus the tables!!!

This little place was truly hometown stuff. They have regulars that come in at 3pm for popcorn and coffee. Amazing. We enjoyed our home cooked meal.

Was recommended by the Grand View hotel and we were not disappointed. The food was good. Prices were reasonable and the service was fantastic!!! The pancakes are huge. If your ever in Nebraska this is a good stop along the way!!!

Pros: food was decently good. Glad to have a veggie option.
Cons: there was a hair in my food and everyone stared at me for longer than was comfortable.

Worst service I’ve ever had in my life. I ordered a goto from here and when I got home I realized it was wrong so I called in. Expected an apology and an offer to come back and get what I ordered, instead I get a rude server on the phone who said she’s to busy to deal with me and to call back in an hour when they have slowed down I then asked for the manager and when she got On the phone she was worse then the server. I’ve never been talk to like that by anyone let alone someone to is taking money for me to cook food for me. Then proceeded to tell me she was the Owner. I get it, Small town cafe but I will NEVER come back. And I got Togo’s from this location twice a week at least

Terrible service, unfriendly wait staff, unapproachable and one pace. The food is not worth the $ and it's pretty cheap food! I had a ribeye and it was way overcooked and had absolutely no seasonong on it, the side salad tasted better than the steak. This place is disappointing all around. The coffee and candy bars are good.
