Old Town Cafe

Outstanding breakfast! Bison patty was delicious as well as the hash browns and veggie omlette. Service was amazing and service with a smile. Spencer was a great server and food came out quickly.
Toast was brought hot to the table and I enjoy how they have butter already at table temperature, at the table, for easy spreading. (All restaurants should do this) We would definitely come back when in the area.

Restaurant is nice. Service was good. Burgers was... Ok... Really nothing special. Had the buffalo burger. Meat was nice but that's it.
The Pulled Beef was great. Tasted good and was juicy. Regretted that i ate the burger instead.

Our server Brock was very funny and super attentive. Our friends ordered the rib-eye and fish and chips. They said they loved their choices. They agreed that the cowboy beans were not appealing. But everything else was wonderful.

My husband ordered a ground round Buffalo with grilled onions. I ordered the roast beef. It was a generous portion of roast beef with delicious brown gravy.

We tried the Mexican soup but didn't take a photo of it. It was very tasty like taco soup with hominy and some type of meat tips.

Dinner came out quickly. And we all enjoyed our meal and then ordered dessert. Our friends had apple and cherry pies with vanilla ice cream. I ordered cherry pie with chocolate ice cream.

The chocolate ice cream tasted fruity so I didn't eat it. But the cherry pie had the flakiest crust it was delicious. You should try this place if you are in West Yellowstone. They have a wide variety on their menu so there should be something for everyone in your group.

The server was quite nice and she effectively served us. I had the trout and it was dry. The beans were overcooked. My dad had the meatloaf which looked nothing like traditional meatloaf. The drink selection is all bottom shelf.
The fries were pretty good and the baked potato appeared to be fine.

Had a great time this evening, we got there right at opening time this evening in a light snow and they had a great fire going! Really good food, great service and very reasonable prices. We had the trout dinner, Buffalo burger, hot beef and hot turkey sandwiches. Nice portions and all really good, followed up with homemade pie and ice cream. Just what we were looking for, would highly recommend.

The service was great and the food was good. I had pancakes and bacon and my gf had the bison patty and eggs with a side Bacon. The bison was ok it tasted gamey but I would def give it try because when In Rome. The service was A1 our server was shaun and he was very good in making sure we were satisfied. They also have this special syrup called flap jack drizzle and it was very good on top of my pancakes. It reminds me of a caramel drizzle but it is worth a try. They do have reg maple syrup as well if you don't like the drizzle. This is a great breakfast spot. Plus if your feeling lucky they have slot machines in the back.

Had breakest at the "Old Town Cafe" this morning 8/17/2022. Friendly greeters, awesome wait/cook staff. Food was excellent! Came within 20mins after ordering. Food was warm and delicious. Highly recommend visiting "Old Town Cafe" when in town. This place will not disappoint. Thanks for the great experience.

MESSAGE TO THE OWNER-
This restaurant has Incredible service, with great staff. however, I was put off by the disgusting signage (see photo attached) on show to patrons of this sub par, quasi-authentic restaurant with rotting wood and badly painted walls.
you should create a better working environment and take down your disgusting signs.

Food was average, my husband had the fried chicken, it was dry and bland, I had shrimps, not much taste and too much oil!

The restroom is very clean with paper tower. Food are good and the staff is very nice and provide local tourist advise.
