Wonderful bakery and cafe! Eat here and support them.
We tried to eat here a few times during our stay. On the weekends they are busy with a long line and we didn’t have time to wait.
We finally got to them mid week and we had such good blackberry and huckleberry turnovers. The breakfast burritos are huge and delicious.
A few customers in line were impatient with waiting but it’s peak season and everywhere is busy so using my expertise in observations I wasn’t surprised to wait. They are understaffed due to covid but they offered excellent service even overwhelmed. Extremely friendly and nice.
I come from a tourist town and understand the struggle and they handle it so well. We will be sure to come back for our next yellowstone visit!

Loved this place. The people here are incredibly nice. Fantastic pastries. I got a huckleberry pastry and it was incredible. It was filled with real Huckleberry. Tasted a lot like when I was a kid and my grandmother made fresh Huckleberry pie after we picked berries off the side of a mountain all day. Very good. The kids got giant cinnamon rolls and loved them. Definitely want to come back here next time we return. Unfortunately didn't get to try the savory pies,... Next time.

Bison breakfast burrito & coffee are excellent. I went twice. First time order was 1 venti black cold brew & 1 bison burrito. Total was $22. Second order was same plus a black grande drip coffee. Total was $27. It’s not that good folks. I’d happily pay $15 for the coffee/burrito and give 5 stars. I felt a bit robbed.
To respond to the comment below: whoa! Sorry not sorry. You charge over $6 for a venti black cold brew…. I can afford it which is why I came twice. I just see it as tourist inflation. Good luck to you.

Loved everything. Pricey but enjoyable! Breakfast at our hotel was terrible so this was nice to have good choices for breakfast. We skipped lunch since we had eaten so much from here!

Had to got inside to place the order and come back outside and wait by the pickup window. Not impressed with the apple turnover(messy) and huckleberry scone - prices on the higher side ($7/scone I think ). Coffee was Starbucks - was expecting something local. Did not see bagels/cream cheese. There are better options nearby.

Nice staff and good options for baked goods and coffee. Very expensive, but worth the price. Highly recommend if visiting West Yellowstone

This store is awesome. The people are so friendly they will make you feel like family. We were in West during the closed season. This one one of a handful of places opened. We were here on our Anniversary she made it as special as possible. with a table set up just for us with candlelight. More than I would have ever guessed. Thank you to all the crew for making our night special. We had such a great time getting to know you. If you are in town go there.the pot pies are delicious, the handmade pastries are to die for loved it all.

You have to eat here. I've been coming to Yellowstone for 10+ years with my family, and this is our all time new favorite. Hands down best food in the Yellowstone area. They use amazing locally sourced foods, and they specialize in game meats. So tasty. They also have a great selection of pastries and pies you can take home (pot pies and fruit pies). We chatted with Mountain Mama herself who gave us some cool baking tips... She loves to spread her knowledge and you can tell she has such a passion for food. Everything we had was so delicious. The pheasant pot pie was so tasty. We also had a few of the burritos, blackberry and huckleberry turnovers, huckleberry scone, huckleberry sugar cookie, peach turnover... All beyond delicious. You've got to go!

Scones and ham/cheese turnovers were really yummy! I highly recommend getting those. The cinnamon rolls were pretty good. My only suggestion is make sure they warm up your food adequately because when we ate them in the car the turnovers were just mildly warm. Other than that, I recommend this place!

Super cute store and great location. Staff was not friendly at all. We browsed the pastries for a few minutes and they never acknowledged us. Bagel was rock hard and took 10 minutes to get despite being the only people there. The huckleberry cream cheese was delicious. I was really disappointed after seeing all the other great reviews and I could tell a lot of love went into the store and menu. Hopefully if we give Mountain Mama’s another shot there will be a different crew working.
