Black Bear Coffee and Espresso

Cute little ice cream shop, coffee shop, deli and bakery. We enjoyed some ice cream but the only issue was we went late in the afternoon and they had a limited selection because of how busy they get. The Espresso ice cream with a waffle cone was very delicious.

This place continues to get better and is a family favorite. All the staff are wonderful. I asked for extra foam in a chai latte and they did not disappoint! The ballroom is a great place to get some computer work done, or just hang out with a good book. Yummy baked goods too!

Lovely little coffee shop, really unique drinks that always taste good! I always stop here when I am in Thompson Falls since I am from Illinois. Out of this world service, the employees always go out of their way to help their customers! They have delicious food that is made in-house; my favorite is the Banana Walnut Bread or the Walnut Sticky Buns! I recently tried their donut muffins too, they are a must-try, especially when the barista warms them up!

The service was slow for sandwich side but well worth it!! Best sandwich I've had in years. My hubby had the breakfast burrito and he said it was really good too! While we were there they called in 2 more employees to help, so the service must have been faster after we left. I would highly recommend this place if your looking for the best sandwiches

Visiting from out of state. Stopped in and got a Chai Tea Latte. Service was very friendly, the coffee shop was very warm and welcoming. My Chai Tea Latte was delicious!!

I stopped by for a treat on my way home to Idaho. The shop is super cute and folks were friendly, however the milkshake I got was terrible. It was 75% milk and had absolutely no flavor, it went directly in the trash after I had a couple sips. There was a sign at the bar saying that the barista was new and to be patient and kind which I 100% respect however it seems like she wasn’t trained well. She put the milkshake up on the bar and told me “I hope that’s okay”. When I said it was pretty thin she just responded “yeah”. I may stop by on my next trip through town but I definitely won’t be ordering a milkshake.

Coffee tastes burnt and sandwich bread tastes very stale/almost moldy. I get that maybe there aren’t as many customers right now but do better about planning so you have freshly baked items available each day. You could even donate your days old food instead of pretending it’s fresh and charging full price for it. Underwhelmed by whole experience. Not sure why so many 5 star reviews - employees, friends and family maybe?

The frappe was absolutely awful. Milk and sweetener. We drove to the drive-thru espresso place in Falls and had them throw them out and make us proper ones.

The black bear has the best sandwiches in the state. The fresh bead is amazing I would say. Just a great place employee ate great and know what they are talking about. Loved it. I hope to be back that way one day.

I got my kids the bubble gum lattes which they enjoyed. I am new to coffee so I asked what was a good latte for chocolate lovers. She recommended the chocolate carmel. I am SO upset i didn't try coffee sooner. It was delicious!
