Best breakfast joint around. The food is great and the offer some unique breakfast dishes. The french toast is incredible. The staff and the atmosphere are very pleasant. If you're in town, don't miss out.

Stop here for lunch. Very, very few places in Big Sky for lunch hour. Stop here and ask for the burger from the evening dinner menu.

Good food. The server was nice and always offered a smile. There were 6 of us ready to eat. We had flown in and driven a while. The cafe looked like a nice place to stop. They offer indoor and outdoor seating. Because of the size of our group we selected inside. We were waited on quickly. Our order was taken promptly and waters were delivered. When our food was delivered it was warm to hot. All of the orders were correct. We had beef burgers, salmon burgers, etc. All of the food was good. This is a great place to stop. Each meal was about $16.

Ok, at best. The French Toast tasted good, at least the pieces that were cooked all the way though. The service was slow and coffee was good, but the cream didn't show up until 10 minutes later. Finally, don't even request well done bacon, it all comes just cooked.

Great Breakfast and Lunch spot. Service was a big part of the experience. My wife and I were a little frustrated at the options available to us in town, and at big sky resort. Partly because of the Labor shortage but mainly because of the quality of food. We saw this sign one day while going to ride snowmobiles. Most of the restaurants were only open for dinner. We were very happy with our visit and would highly recommend!

I noticed this spot on my way to a campsite & knew I had to stop for lunch. I don’t usually write reviews, but this place stood out for its unparalleled service & atmosphere, along with their excellent coffee and food! I got the salmon sandwich with cheese, bacon, & huckleberry aioli etc. It was phenomenal! Cooked perfectly, excellent flavor, and my mac & cheese side was the best mac I’ve had at a restaurant. I’m glad I asked for extra huckleberry aioli because it’s going on my toast tomorrow morning. It isn’t just the food that grants this place 5 stars. I’ve worked in restaurants for many years & have never seen a team appear to be so coordinated. I saw every employee tend the restaurant in one way or another. The servers would stop at tables that weren’t even theirs to check on the customers. Angie was my waitress & she was so pleasant, made me excellent coffee, and was just incredibly enjoyable to have a conversation with. It was clear she cared about her job & the customers. Rick, the manager on duty, was warm & friendly. He carried an air that told me he was in charge, but it was very welcoming. I live on the road and encounter many small cafes everywhere I go, yet have never had a more pleasant experience than at Cafe 191. All the servers, (Angie, Casey, and another younger girl) were so attentive as I observed their service. I sat there for a couple hours doing computer work & almost every employee came to talk to me, making me feel even more welcome. This place is an absolute must-visit & l will be happily returning soon. Next time you stop in ask for servers Angie or Casey, as their delightful energy made my experience!

My husband got the special, Green eggs and ham, I got biscuits and gravy. We are from the south of the United States and I must say those biscuits and gravy‘s were delicious. They’re not like the ones in the south as they put a spin on it. However still very good. My husband loved the green eggs and ham. The chef was friendly, the waitress was attentive. And even the locals said hello. Would recommend to anyone

The absolute best burger (John & Wayne) of our entire trip (and we had like 4 other burgers around Montana and Wyoming). My husband could not stop talking about the burger, and he’s a hard one to impress. A very unassuming little restaurant, but not to be missed!

Come with an appetite or multiple humans ready to assist. LOL -STILL- missing this breakfast! Huckleberry pancakes and a SO-GOOD omelette topped with a tangy perfect hollandaise. The sausage gravy is particularly amazing.. the coffee is also amazing... the entire everything, all of it, Cafe 191, a particularly amazing place to go. Thank you so much for the morning fuel and Happy New Year to everyone!
