Avon Family Cafe

While on the road trip saw this place and decided to stop by and have a quick meal. It's just a simple shack that had some SUPER AMAZING food. Most of the desserts are made in house. I ended up getting a simple 2 egg and biscuit breakfast and a vanilla cheese cake slice. wow! They also had some amazing local artists works for sale.

What a nice surprise to find this restaurant on our drive between Helena and Missoula. The service was great and the food was delish. I think that may have been the best Huckleberry milkshake I've ever had. Everything tasted homemade; you can't beat that.

This is a great little place off the side of the road. If you blink, you'll miss it! The food is sooo good (big portions) and the people who work there are just wonderful old-school peeps. Love it!
Oh, I can't forget, clean bathrooms, too! 👍

Oh my goodness, this place is absolutely amazing. We stumbled upon it while looking for a place to eat during a drive, and aren't we glad we did.

Everything we had was absolutely terrific, it was fresh, cooked to order, and amazing. Had never had tater babies before but they were awesome. Great menu, good portion sizes, and reasonable prices.

Don't skip out on dessert either, we split a piece of pie and it was so good, we got another (and a cinnamon roll) to go.

On top of all of that, the waitress and cook were just super nice people, really pleasant and friendly.

One of the better places we've been in a while! If you're driving through, stop by even if only for dessert, you won't regret it.

Great friendly atmosphere. Like any small town Cafe good food great price. Easy off and on access from highway 12. Lots of parking and large enough to accommodate larger gatherings. If you are in the area and want a great meal stop in and say hello. I love having the biscuits and gravy but bring an appetite. It's a larger portion at 3 biscuits and not for the faint of heart. I also had to have the hash browns and sausage gravy as well as a side. Yummmm

Diamond in the rough definitely stop if you can. Good food and service very nice place

I use to eat here a lot when I was younger. My grandpa Clayton Weedeman lived and worked in Avon. It was so awesome to stop for a bite. Brought back memories

My kinda place!

Order the buttermilk walnut pie...heated with ice cream. I never would have ordered this on my own, I'm a fruit pie gal, but my mother in law ordered it and it's like heaven!!! Super rich and delicious! I look forward to it every time I visit Avon!

Great place for a good meal! And amazing milkshakes, too!!
